  1. Songs of the Wood is my favourite Jethro Tull album, though it is very different from Aqualung which has already been mentioned a few times

As an afterthought, Saxondale is absolutely hilarious!

  2. Maiden shouldn't be anywhere near that much. It's not like they can draw as many people as the other acts that charge that much like the Stones or The Who, so it'd be a pretty bad idea forthe marketers to charge that much

  3. As long as the sig features Ian Gillan, Bruce Dickinson and Geoff Tate in their younger days I don't mind how it generally looks. Though preferably there will be Bruce in the middle, what with him being my favourite, hehe :) . My username on there would also be a big plus

Thanks to anyone who'll give it a crack

  4. Just telling you all I am still around. Just working on getting a decent tone on the bass, it sounds a tad hollow the way I'm recording it, so I'm trying out various EQ settings to get it to sound a bit better

kick ass, i can tweak the EQ in cubase afterwards if it'd be easier

Sounds good to me, means I can get it done a bit quicker. I'm home from work at 20:00 GMT tomorrow so I'll give a crack at a recording then, but being Friday I can't promise anything.

  5. its funny cus axl is so much a better singer than any metal band singer wel screamin cock sniff guns n roses were the biggest band in the world at one point i think that desearves more respect than some dik givin shit cus they arnt and never will be as good as guns n roses ah wel

    To the bolded part:

    No. Just no.

Nickeback??? Wow i cant fucking believe ppl like them. Theyre supposed to be from over here and ppl fucking hate them with a passion and are embarssed about that.

Today, only Green day, emo bands and coldplay make gayer music than nickleback.

 ... I have nothing else to say on the matter

    well, quite simply, dont.

at least im not from a country that spawned bullet for my valentine and lostprophets :)

But we did create Feeder, The Manic Street Preachers and the Stereophonics.

  8. Every single note Steve Harris plays.

Some of the Dream Theatre stuff is pretty cool bass-wise.

Yes!! Steve Harris is sweet, and Dream Theater is fucking awesome! Myung is absolutely amazing at bass; Dream Theater and Maiden are two of my favourite bands rock3

In my rush to name Another One Bites The Dust I forgot about Steve Harris, the netire reason I picked up the bass. Infinite Dreams and the Phantom of the Opera are the shit, and let's not forget. He isn't root noting the guitarists, the guitarists are root noting Steve Harris.

    Ice Ice Baby

    Rick James - Super Freak

EDIT: Shite. Got confused there. That would be Hammer Time

  9. Bob Dylan - Mr Tambourine Man

Bob Dylan - Sad Eyed Lady of the Lowlands

Bruce Dickinson - Tears of the Dragon

    Deep Purple - Highway Star

    Deep Purple - Lazy

Iron Maiden - Hallowed Be Thy Name

Iron Maiden - The Rime of the Ancient Mariner

King Crimson - 21st Century Schizoid Man

    Queensryche - Revolution Calling

Stevie Ray Vaughan - Texas Flood
