The BBC described their performance as “uneven” which considering their association with the festival its about as close as they can get to saying they flopped, without actually saying it.
The lesson is fairly simple and obvious - stick to the hits and a positive attitude and lots of energy will be enough, as long as Axl doesn’t completely butcher the vocals.
