    What about these :D

Drum Solo (Live In Paris – 6/6/92)

Slash Solo (Live In Paris – 6/6/92)

Speak Softly, Love (Love Theme From The Godfather) (Live In Paris – 6/6/92)

Sail Away Sweet Sister (Live In Paris – 6/6/92)

Wild Horses (Live In Paris – 6/6/92)

    This is ridiculous ….

If you look at what wasn’t included from Paris it looks like they’re holding back for a more mainstream release of that show.

  2. There are odd omissions such as any music videos and the much rumored 5.1 mixes.

If I had to guess, maybe the plan is to release more live single shows with a concert and music per release, similar to how Prince’s estate is releasing music in the coming months or years. A concert here, a concert with remixes there.

They clearly have the Paris, Rio and London music to say the least.

  3. Hard Skool has all the signs of just being a single.  To an album or by itself; I’m not sure.

The vinyl only has the B-side Absurd.  The cassette and CD seem more like physical counterparts to the singles that were huge in the 80s and 90s.

This doesn’t seem like an EP or an end all to new music.  It just seems like a single that is being promoted heavily with stickers and stuff; albeit ahead of a new album.  I’m just not sure when.

    All opinion, of course.

If it’s to believed that HS got pushed back for whatever reason, I think that’s further backing the idea of a new album if they just had something polished and in the works that could replace it.

Judging by Fernanado's comments about "Vinyl, release, etc.", I'm inclined to believe that Hardschool was being soundchecked last year and being prepared as the lead single; being it sounds more like "GN'R".  I think the promotion was delayed due to COVID.  I read his comments as promotion was being done for Hardschool, hence they didn't want to waste the opportunity on half filled, COVID restricted stadiums. Enter Absurd as a replacement for something new to draw people but they didn't want to waste the promotion for Hardschool with so much other news in the world.

  5. The science doesn’t explain why no spike in Chicago after Lollapalooza. Granted there are other factors such as many  may be from other parts of the country, but still they are not seeing an unexpected spike.
As a person who is vaxed, with his wife and son, and a daughter with previous lung issues that is not vaxed, the reward is not worth it on any level for me.

None the less, I’m watching Chicago and Sturgis out of pure curiosity.

Well I've just found out that there is a shitload of concerts flying around on official GNR youtube channel. They are pain in the ass to find but there is Live NA 1993, remastered Ritz, Japan 1988, Tokyo 1992, Chicago 1991 (?), RiR 1991, today they've posted Bad Obsession live.

    Edit:

Dunno if its right place to post it but maybe that is something they do to communicate with fans but noone knows bout it cause its so hard to find on yt. Also posting live after that reddit posts would mean so.

I only saw some, Chicago 1992 and Tales of Destruction.

After soaking in the Super Deluxe for a couple weeks I would have to say I definitely got my money's worth.. I only paid $40 for it but it is definitely worth a bit more. Not sure if it is worth $100 but $75 would be a fair price if you can get it for that.

CD 1 Appetite Remaster - I just gave it one listen. I noticed some subtle differences but nothing drastic.. Which is a good thing because the album is perfect.

CD 2 EPs and B-Sides - Bummer they left One In a Million off of this but it is great to have the rest of the songs remastered. I feel that the benefited more from the remaster than Appetite. I always felt that SOLY was missing off Live Like a Suicide and now it is there! Cool to have good quality versions of the live songs too.

CD 3 Sound City Sessions- This is my least favorite of the bunch. Out Ta Get Me, Anything Goes and Think About You are cool but other than that nothing really stands out. They are all kind of meh takes and there are better versions of Heartbreak Hotel and Jumpin Jack Flash out there.

CD 4 Sound City Sessions and More - This is probably my favorite. I know we have heard most of it but it is great to have quality versions of these songs.  Weird that they put 3 versions of Move to The City all on one CD but they are all great versions in my opinion. I like them all better than the LIES/LLAS version. New Work Tune and The Plague are throw away's but the rest of the CD is fucking money. It is a shame that Corn shucker didn't make it on here.

Blu Ray - I didn't even think I would care about this but watched it last night. The Appetite and bonus songs have some cool imagery for sure.  Different ones for every song. They get a bit redundant and a tad cheesy at times but overall I thought they were good. Great having all the videos as well. I watched them all last night.

    Swag..

    Tattoos - silly
Flyers and ticket stubs - Kind if indifferent on these but they were cool to look at once I guess.
Posters and stuff - Some of them are actually kind of cool. I will probably hang something up in my loft where I play darts and have a vinyl setup.. They would look good in someones shed or garage as well.
Axl's photo book - No one talks about this at all but I love it. I know this day and age you can find photos all over the internet but I remember the days when you couldn't something like this would be gold. Definitely my favorite part of the swag items.

the imagery on the Blu-ray is cool, like you said, but the money is the sound on a good system.  Personally, I think the 5.1 really adds to it.  The sound is what sets it apart; the imagery, not so much.
