    Appetite remastered??? Well I can sort of see why some people are falling over themselves for it. I consider myself a bigger than casual fan, but my ears like AFD just the way it is.. maybe I'm not that picky I dunno. 

    SOYL has been cleaned up nicely but the lyrics are crap and the video was lazy... maybe they've completed their contract with geffen now?? If so... then who knows what the next plan is. 

    Overall, if you've got the coin to blow on all this then lucky you. I've been a fan as long as I can remember and with a 2 yr old and another on the way I don't have that cash to blow, but even if I did, this box set still wouldn't get my money. 

    Id much prefer something that was limited edition (not 10,000) and it would need to be personalised. Rather than all the swag, I'd have preferred a pro shot DVD or blue ray of something rare or semi rare rather than a tattoo or flag or guitar pic, 

    i hope they do something for illusions such as pro shots or the documentary that is rumoured to exist, that might get me far more excited than what this has.

    I understand your concern however I don’t think people are going to be using the picks to actually play a guitar. I’m willing to bet they are going to put memorabilia in display cases, hutches, shadow boxes or whatever.  Like you said,  It’s not for everybody.  If I had the extra coin I’d spring for it but I don’t; so I’ll just have to settle for plastic picks.

    In '96 when the band officially broke up, I think we all said that time will tell, like the Eagles and such.  We probably accepted that some time apart after a decade could energize them creatively.  In '99 when the new GN'R played Vegas and Oh My God hit the stores, I stepped back a bit thinking he is really moving in a new direction.  During RiR and the VMA's it became apparent Axl had no intention on mending.  In 2008 with CD hitting stores it sealed the fate of what most of us knew as GN'R.  2012 at the RnR HoF, I personally felt bitchslapped by Axl for his lack of support for being inducted into the HoF.  As a fan, I felt that what ever the band had released at that point officially is all we were ever going to get. A mere four years later and the NITLT tour ramps up with rave reviews and what appears to be everyone getting along, including Steven. So here we are.  Whether it's new or old, whatever.  I'll buy the Super Dlx and the single form Amazon to show my support to the band.  Whether GN'R get a large chunk or not from sales isn't the point for me. Just letting the powers that be know that there is interest in what they are doing works for me.  Hopefully, people will purchase the single for a buck rather than bootleg it to show that yes, we want new music.  If this is what it takes to get to new music in a few years, I'm in.

    The Super Dlx does not come with a download. However briefly on Friday Amazon had the Autorip icon on the sets but then removed them. I believe once we get closer they will include the autorip digital copy.

    It’s possible. Metallica’s MoP remaster is $150 with 10 cds, books, nots, trinkets, etc. not identical but a very in-depth set none the less. The video stated Super Deluxe in the beginning leading many to assume it only applied to the first three seconds of the video. We heard there were different SKUs to which Amazon has shown different SKUs for lower prices. I could be wrong but yes, I think it’s possible.

    Where is this Locked & Loaded confirmation for $650? The only concrete numbers anyone has is $179, $19 and $13, all from Amazon. Curious though how much was Metallica’s MoP remaster?
