Thinking back two years ago, Hard Skool was released at midnight everywhere, but Absurd came out midnight US time because it was released at 2pm for me in Aus. So could be two hours or 15 hours away I guess 🤔

Are the Axl backing vocals newly recorded? Sounds a bit different than the Village demo?
No it’s exactly the same. Melissa played around with the samples on their own after the band had stopped playing and it was clearly the same vocal track

Perhaps from soundcheck as promised:
quality is a bit shit as I wasn’t paying attention and had the phone pointing at my feet but it gives a teaser for the real thing anyway

I assume the "you're all alone now" lyric is the one sampled?
I'm wondering how they would approach this live, as even without any vocal challenges it would be impossible to do given it almost overlaps the rest of the lines
No the “all alone” line would be what Axl sings live, the other lines were in the sample being played

Noooooo! One of my main problems with Perhaps was the crowded chorus!!!!
It’ll be very crowded. Mellisa and Duff were both singing backing vocals with the sample

If it's based on the audio clip It seemed to be a clipper snippet triggered by Melissa pretty much likes the screams in Absurd, but I Mlmay be wrong
You’re correct, after they finished the song she was playing around with the sample on its own - clearly Axl is going to sing half the chorus with half prerecorded

For those who've heard them soundcheck Perhaps - does Slash play a solo that's even close to the demo version?
Definitely different - I liked it though

They’re playing perhaps and are running through different parts several times… makes me think they’re trying to get the timings right to hopefully play it tonight.
I’ve taken a full recording which I’ll upload later on too

Do we have anyone checking for the soudcheck?
Will be there from early afternoon onwards - hopefully they do something interesting and I’ll record it

How strict are the Scots with curfews? Hoping for a long set but 11pm finish seems kinda early

Is the stream with Lewis Capaldi currently singing the one that will have Guns?

ok so can anyone clear this up: is it possible to watch the stream outside the UK? and is it possible to do so without using vpn, cause i am too lazy for that.
No idea about where it's broadcast but if you do need a VPN download Urban VPN. Dead easy to use and free, you just select what country you need to be in and you're set. Used it to stream Rock in Rio and had no issues

So basically people are pissed that the same setlist was played in the same order when it wasn't, songs like Estranged were moved around completley.
Erm yeah not exactly sure why there's whinging about the order of the set. The first six songs, Nightrain before the encore and Paradise City closing were basically the only things kept exactly the same. Pretty much every other song was shuffled around.
Seems more like people just see they're playing most of the same songs as the last show and have a sook

Damn that’s rough - doubt we’ll get many if any of the new additions to the set in proshot then :/

The Glasgow one was my video and it is unlisted so wouldn’t show up as easily potentially
