Yeah but I had a bad feelings about this show. Single show, long breakbefore, long break after. I can’t see Axl will prepare for this show. But who knows
If they have new stuff to promote and a big tour to announce there is no way he'll come unprepared. If not, could be pretty rough.

Superbowl commercial promoting a new album?
I get that making sense isn't always the way with Gnr, but what would make perfect sense in terms of the reason for actually having this random gig would be to play the gig, play some or at least one new song and release a single on the same day, then the next day announce the US stadium tour with a release date for a new album. And put an ad during the Super Bowl for the album/tour.
So much stuff that's known to be happening doesn't make any sense without new music, a random one off gig they won't profit from, talk of a "new show" and "new era" and a stadium tour when they've been playing progressively smaller arenas for the past 3 years.

Which was the third song with Brian May? I totally forgot.
Catcher and Atlas are the first 2.
Perhaps

Makes more sense that way, but i still have no idea what he says.
Phonetically to me, it sounds like he says
"shine/shy like more than a bomb no ooor" but that makes no fucking sense lol.
I think someone posted the lyrics as “I got more than I bargained for” (save me), like there were two vocal layers. If you listen closely there’s definitely a high pitched vocal line besides the main chorus which could account for the “s” sound.

Your right i forgot about northern hemisphere seasons. The reason i thought later in the year as from so called insiders predicting a new album drop in november. But i dont think that date is doable as the band stay home during december and january so not much point releasing a new album in november and the band not promoting and sitting on their asses for 2 months.
The rumours I've heard on the forums are September or March. Either of those would make sense- use the Miami gig to play some new stuff then release the album before going on the big tour, or in September after Europe before taking off on an American tour. Obviously it's more likely that nothing will happen but I'll stay hopeful until proven otherwise.

Either the band does NA straight after europe and the icon next to the US stadium dates means fast forward. So maybe NA dates could be later in the year or early 2021. If there is new music the post should have been,
S america ➡️ europe ➡️ 📀⏩ U S stadium
Would have to be fall dates surely. An outdoor stadium tour in the winter doesn't seem like a great idea
-
They've been playing progressively smaller arenas in the last 4 years in America, there is no way they could suddenly go back to stadiums without new music.

Not sure how unpopular this opinion is, but I reckon Matt Sorum's drumming on the Illusions is miles better than anything Adler did

Watch them change 1 new song for this " All New Show "
If by one new song you mean an actual new song then yeah I'd take that in a heartbeat.

Axl turned in the remix album to the record company in 2010 but they turned it down.
I've heard this thing about the rejected remix album in 2010 from a lot of people. Is it actually confirmed that he submitted it and was rejected from a reliable source or is it just rumours? Having heard the leaked remixes I can understand why the record label wouldn't have been too keen...

So they're going to tour a new album with Axl's voice totally tired and shot after 5 years of touring?
I dont even know if i would want new music like this, all the hype, nice studio vocals and then you see them live...
2016 was so long ago now, this tour should have ended in 17-18, so they could rest pretty well before touring again.
Makes no sense to tour so much, release a new album and go back on the road so fast. Dont want to imagine what Axl would sound like after like 8 years touring non stop.
You’d think most new music would be recorded with fresh Axl vocals. So they’d have to suit his current style and limitations and he’d be able to pull them off live reasonably ok at least.
Not like time off has ever done his voice any good anyway.

I mean they could just switch one song and the stage and there you have a new show
You're probably right but I'll try to be optimistic until proven otherwise

There was an ad for the new tour posted somewhere advertising an "all new show". They surely couldn't say that and then play the exact same set again could they?

Surely this can’t happen without any new music being released.
My thoughts exactly. Even if it's just Hard School or one other new song I can't imagine they wouldn't pull out at least something new

Yeah they are just bullshiting as always. Promoters announcement doesnt say anything about any tour name. Will probably get that today after Slash's interview
The interview is overnight my time... I'm already dreaming of waking up tomorrow and reading about the new album they're releasing in support of this new tour

Didn’t want to start a new topic, but does anyone believe that the boys are actually going to release a new album?
Fair few rumours floating around evo about a release in March but I don't think they're really based on much besides speculation and some fairly weak sources. In saying that I'm optimistic we might hear something new next year but I'm fully prepared to be disappointed.

I"m sorry, but considering the absolute (deserved) beating that Fernando etc takes here on a regular basis, don't you think that maybe they throw some of these songs on the alt list just to fuck with the diehard fans - knowing that the list is going to show up on line either right before or right after the gig and get tongues wagging- to amuse him (them) selves?
So Fernando goes up to Slash and Duff and tells them to rehearse and put on the setlist a song they have no intention of playing just because he's having a feud with some randoms on Reddit? Don't reckon

making an educated assumption that the band rehearsed is different from making a statement saying they DID rehearse it.
if you have a reason to believe they did rehearse the song other than the title appearing on a setlist please share. That would be really interesting to hear.
Apparently several people heard it at Soundcheck before the first show minus Axl, and some guy on here was on a plane with Fortus who told him they'd rehearsed it.

Probably not, unfortunately.
nevertheless, this is still a great achievement, so congrats to GnR... but seriously, NITL needs to end.
Slash posted a thing on Instagram about it being the proper end of NITL so I reckon it actually is done and the new tour will be called something else

Easily the worst Gnr album besides Spaghetti for mine. Don't mind the acoustic stuff but it doesn't really do it for me like hard rock and power ballads, and the LLAS songs are all average by Guns standard.
