YCBM is not a droppable song tbf but TIL certainly is
But YCBM is a song where he could easily switch to baritone voice

Who's Melissa? Haven't you been following the lithography? There are only 3 members of this band whom happen to be skeletons wearing hats so they don't get sun burnt
Richard is that you?

Hollywood, FL 2021 last show of the year. Probably Axl's best vocal performance since 2017.
Dublin 2022 was also very good. Then came the London shows and the Glasgow cancellation iirc

With that setlist and a possible addition/release of Perhaps and Atlas I’ll probably buy a nosebleed ticket for Frankfurt. These fuckers always find a way to pull me back in.
Still, while I don’t wanna be the one nitpicking for stuff to complain about, I think that a lot of the songs are still very hard to listen to because of Axl sadly. Sure, he made it through a 3+ hours set without any major fuckups but you could tell he was struggling a lot. TIL, SOD and YCBM were almost unlistenable imo. Patience outro was a lot weaker than usual. And even though they added songs to benefit his voice, they only cut Better from the ones he sounded bad on during the previous tours.
And the saddest thing for me is, that his lower voice sounds still good and he should just embrace it and sing songs in a lower octave. Especially ballads like SOD, TIL or NR would benefit massively imo. I think this would also be the only way for GNR to tour for another 5-10 years. The band surely has another 10 years in them, but if Axl refuses to adapt to his diminishing vocal abilities, it might be over in 2-3 years…
To end on a positive note: what a setlist! The best since Inglewood 2017 at least. Looking forward to Monday.

But you’ve gotta remember they „don’t have a setlist“ so don’t be too disappointed when they’ll open with ISE

Decided to grab a ticket for Roger Waters today as there were many tickets available. He put on a great show. I left before the encore straight after Brain Damage/Eclipse as this was the perfect end to the show for me. Also even though his views on politics are questionable sometimes, deep inside he’s a good guy

Seen all acts multiple times, even seeing some this year. Only act that really interests me is AC/DC, as I thought they were done for. Hopefully this is not just a one-off, as I'm not traveling from Europe and paying an extortionate amount to be able to be present at this.
Same here, I mean it would be cool to see GNR, maiden and Ozzy as well, but AC/DC is what’s really tempting me to go there… but as I neither want to sell a kidney nor rob a bank, I hope for a small EU tour

They speculate about stem cell treatment there if my Twitter translation is right… that could be quite serious if true.
Of course it’s all just speculation and probably (and hopefully) we’ll never find out whether that’s true.
Maybe there’s a way to repair vocal chords by stem cell therapy 🤷🏼♂️

Which is kinda dumb ‘cause, as far as I know, Roger has been a huge critic of the government of Israel, especially it’s attitude towards palestine, which is completely different from being antisemitic. He is not targeting the jewish faith, the jewish lifestyle or traditional jewish customs, he is criticitizing a government which happens to be run by jewish people for a vast majority of jewish inhabitants, but in a geopolitical way and not in a social and cultural way. It would be like saying that criticizing the US is antichristian or something. Well, as far as I know. Maybe he did go crazy and I’m not up to date.
Well he did however put a star of david on his flying pig during his shows, but I agree with the overall statement
As always with Roger. His views are not necessarily bad, but he ruins everything with the way he chooses to express them

Beatles are more iconic and a bigger influence, I like GNR better though

Apparently the city of Frankfurt canceled Roger Waters' concerts there over his antisemetic and generally strange world views.
I read that too, although tickets are still on sale
