6-8 hours seems to be the norm now, especially for FPS. One of the newer Bond games Blood Stone took me MAYBE five hours, but probably less. Maybe game developers just figure people have a shorter attention span nowadays. They're probably right.

Agreed, and that seems to be the way people rate games nowadays. It's all about whether or not the game has good online or not.

Agreed. There's still lots to offer for RPG players, but I've always been more into straight-forward shooters.

I know, the story mode is usually way too short in COD. I got on the COD wagon later than most but I was surprised how fast (and easily) I beat MW2. I swear I've played harder Super Nintendo games.
