Anyone excited about the new Football Manager 2009?

played the PES09 demo and wasnt too impressed and have bought Fifa instead...

however the legends mode looks awesome!

The Be A Pro Online mode rules...

No lag which is surprising as its an EA server!

10v10 Chelsea Man U was great!

I love Dragonforce and its because of what they are...

a band which dont want to be the best and to just have a good time and they are damn good feelgood music...

for me atleast.

I always liked Trivium, their first 2 albums, Ember to Inferno and Ascendancy were incredible in my opinion.

Then The Crusade came out, and i lost all my respect for them, i fucking hated that album with a passion.

No roaring, no good solo's, everything sucked.

But im liking what i am hearing form their new stuff.

Their new single is incredible in my opinion, have a listen for yourself.

Crusade was good just different from what their fans expected...

A thrash tribute album tbh...

I saw Starship Troopers for the first time yesterday. It was okay. Is it worth to see the second and third?

Second is terrible as they have basically turned it into a cheap horror film without any humor...

You guys are exaggerating the grenade effect. It's only really a problem on the real small maps, and it fucking tells you when a grenades near you, lol.

most of the maps are small. and they're not too small that when someone throws a grenade(or 3) accross the map, that it has time left to warn you. usually the few seconds it takes to travel cause it to explode very fast after landing

Shipment is the worst example...

oh god, there's a map where it's just too easy and random to win i've only played it once because i usually play S&D

i head COD5 will have vehicles, i'm not a huge fan of them in online games

Played a game of HQ and a game of Team Deathmatch on Shipment...

it was absolute chaos...

fun but too frantic for me to like...

i agree bout vehicles, they are suited to games like Halo as they are part of the campaign and stuff but in games like COD i cant see how it would work well

Saw them live at this shitty venue which used to be a public toilet last year...

Was just after Donny appeared on Buzzcocks and it was mental...

He got punched so many times...

Can you play Rock Band 2 with just a normal 360 controller or do you have get all the instuements?

I want to get the game and play it but don't want to do the...I'm not sure how the ganme works really?

you need the intruments...

dont have to get all of them though...

a normal guitar hero/ rockband controller will work perfectly...

but to do all parts you need the instruments...

personally the GHWT deal is much better as its like 2 guitars, mic and drums with the game for bout £150 which is a great deal which i would get...

Could always buy the GH set and trade in the game for RB2

I'm a huge Portal fan and love the game and all I am saying is I can see why Halo was awarded it over the other two games but I never said I thought Halo deserved it...

Portal is an exeptional puzzle game yes, Wii Fit I dont know much about granted but reading that article I kinda agree bout Halo...

I mean the whole Forge thing is great, the theatre is amazing, co-op with meta-score is fantastic and for the lasting experience you get it is very innovative...

Slap a multiplayer into Portal and that would have taken it, Portal CTF would rule!

This is my second RROD but the thing is the Xbox it happened too is under a year old (manufactured 24th Aug 2007) and should have had the problem fixed..

I finished Braid 100% this morning. Well, bar a certain secret 8 things that some of you may know about that I won't spoil.

It's SO good. The satisfaction of getting all the pieces and then seeing the story all click into place is a magical feeling. I know this is like my third post on it now, and I will shut up about it after this one, but with the story ending in such a way it multiplied my love for it even higher. It's a tad pretentious at times but overall it's just a unique and fresh experience. If ever an argument was needed for games being art you'd use this.

It might be my game of the year now. I think MGS4 tops it just, but christ, please buy Braid!

I would buy it but my Xbox has gone to a better place...

Being picked up for Red Ring repair tomorrow...
