Oh God, I've just thought---What if The Blues or whatever is played everywhere from tall buildings--in places like London and busy cities. Everyone would hear it and be like 'What's that'? And if it's played almost everyday people would be intrigued...and then, there'd be posters put up...saying maybe the lyrics and a photo of the place it was played with text like 'Were you there??' or whatever...like, turned into a gimmik--a good gimmik. Like the artist Banksy or summat.

Just my thoughts.

Well, as I don't have many close emo friends (none, to be exact) it's hard to agree or disagree with the comments some people have made. See, I like to be absolutely sure before I conclude stuff.,

I know of 2 emo people--a girl and boy at uni. They both annoy me. The boy is the most annoying, immature, self-pitying, unambitious homosapien I have ever met. He picks fights with girls as well--he threw egg at this girl at a party because she disagreed with him on something. Also, he seems to think that streaking is cool and will guarantee him friends. He just vies for attention all the time, I imagine it's quite exhausting be around him all the time.

The girl on the other hand, is a bit better. She does seem to thrive on attention and can be a bit of a bitch and two-faced.

So, both of the emos I know, I don't like.

I downloaded 'Woman' a while ago and thought it was a bangin' tune so downloaded a whole load of Wolfmother tunes, including 'Apple Tree'.

I finally got round to purchasing the album yesterday and was baffled to find that the versions of 'Woman' and 'Apple tree' are different. And I don't think for the better either. The ones I downloaded are basically a bit slower and I prefer this version of 'Woman' to the album's version. I've uploaded 'Woman' and 'Apple Tree' so you'll know what I'm going on about. Basically, I'd like to know if anyone a) agrees with me and B) knows how these came about. Are they demos?

I'm sure I'll get bashed to hell for saying it, but here goes anyway.

I hope kids who have never heard GNR before, and then hear Chinese Democracy hunt out AFD/Illusions and love the classics too, if not moreso.. I'd hate to think there are kids out there calling themselves GNR fans when they've only heard one era of the music. (And, in my opinion, the weakest).

I'm not going to bash you. In fact, I concur. AFD owns.

Both my 11 and 6 year old niece know the majority of the songs on AFD--as does my 14 year old brother--I took him to a GnR show at Hammersmith. I've also made CDs for 'em with all the new songs on it and they're always blasting it and they go around saying 'Better....BETTER..' So, they know 'em
