The more important question is. Why Estranged is played very early in the set. It is absolutely out of place. The first songs are there to fire up the crowd. I saw the NITL... tour three times and so far this song has brought down the mood after the audience was so hyped up. In my opinion, this belongs in the category "Epic". And I think epic songs should be played towards the end. I also ask myself why the trilogy is played backwards. First Estranged, then November Rain and finally Don't Cry. Estranged does not feel right at the beginning of the concert, especially in summer on a bright day. The song screams for epic proportions. It needs lighting effects

Agreed on this. Always felt it should be more towards the end, like the UYI tour.

It has nothing to do with “putting his foot down.” We are in a very interesting point in the bands history. Without Slash, there’s zero way Guns will ever do any more touring of epic proportions like we have seen. Axl knows this. Management knows this. Nobody wants to play to half filled arenas anymore.

I mean, refusing to tour without releasing new music would be putting his foot down. So it does have to do with that...

  3. I honestly don’t have any interest in a live album just because I don’t feel like listening to the same songs for the millionth time, in any form. Same reason I had no real interest in the AFD box set. WTTJ is still WTTJ whether it’s the album version, a remaster, a live version, or a demo. Same with SOYL.

Really only interested in brand new songs at this point. Unfortunately I don’t see it happening.

given the circumstances they should be happy they got to see GNR at all, they're not in the position to complain about the songs they played, cause they were not the ones being sick

I guess. Maybe it comes down to, like, “I paid the same amount of money as people did to the last show, and got nearly half the songs.” It’s possible some of them would have preferred a refund, instead of an incomplete show.
