Yeah those were old quotes. I think the one after the song was from the Trunk 2006 interview

I can definitely hear why they needed 23 years, 4 months and 17 days since the demo

Well I was there and I love catcher but it sounded absolutely terrible. All because of Axl.
he was also at fault for hard skool.
it’s ironic he sounds so bad on songs he wrote with his modern voice.
good gig otherwise
I mean, modern voice in 2000 lol. All jokes aside, that is the most depressing part. We know what songs they had by 2001 thanks to the locker leaks, but stuff like Shacklers, Better, Scraped, Sorry vocals, etc came between Zutaut being fired (locker leak) and Chinese releasing. What could've been if he had just put out a follow up in 2010/2011, put songs like Hard School and Perhaps in the set when he still had his voice. Now we're getting pieced together versions of stuff hes had sitting on the shelf for 2 decades. Wasted talent. Wasted opportunity to do these songs justice live.

They probably don't want cell phone footage of Mickey Mouse vocals on Perhaps before the song comes out. Thinking they'll release it first and then play it like with Hardschool

Someone should tell Craig this is Cuban Skies

What if label is just interested in a new GNR song to promote and refuse to do some promotion for 20 year old touched up demos, but this is Axls will and therefore all the screw ups?
I don't think the label cares. As long as they have a product to push, they don't care about the origins

Perhaps shouldve been out no later than 2010. This is 2023. Chinese was 2008. Let that all sink in. PATHETIC

Axl worked on CD II with and without Slash. I doubt that the locker leaks are responsible for including those Songs in the Release process
I think it has everything to do with the release process. Why wouldn’t they release a song no one heard instead of just 2 (3) that already had vocals and had leaked

No, not really. People still listen to radio, of course, but not nearly as much as streaming. And radio doesn’t break songs anymore - they become popular online and then the radio play picks up.
I was just being sarcastic. This isn’t going to be a radio smash.
Radio will play it for one week, two weeks tops… And then it’s back to paradise city

I don’t think Perhaps is about the old band. I think it’s just another song whining about the failed relationship with Stephanie Seymour

Just listened on TouchTunes in my local. Crazy. Mix sounds great. Especially chorus vocals. Got a video that sounds good but too big to upload. Going for audio soon. Will sound better than the two clips circulating. Gimme a bit.
Keep us posted!

To understand how this up works: one has to be physically in the bar, or can it be used remotely, meaning that someone can make it play a song in a bar they're not at (because that's what I think @BillConnor_1982 did at first)?
Yeah, the way TouchTunes work is, it goes off your location, so you can check in to the bar you're currently at, or within a certain radius. But you can check into any location anywhere in the world only if you've checked in once before. So say you're from Florida and you went on vacation to Las Vegas and used your TouchTune app at a Vegas bar. Since you've checked into that location before, you can access that jukebox anywhere you are

I bet Fernando is probably logging into every bars TouchTunes that has PERHAPS playing next and doing a "Fast Pass Play" with Iron Butterfly's 17 minute epic In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida just so no one can hear it until it's ready for the world

I was referring to the list, which is real, I can assure you 100%. It's sad we will probably get worse versions of those songs with the NITL lineup.
GN'R is holding out on us though, I believe they are releasing what has leaked first, at least for the most part, then comes the gems.
If that list is 100% then it's so bizarre because why are they referencing songs that were on Chinese etc. As if the follow up to Chinese Democracy had re-do's of Chinese Democracy songs. I can't even comprehend

Has anyone stared working on a TouchTunes Jukebox cellphone clip recording / Zutaut Locker Leak remix yet?

What gets me is how low effort the “new” songs are. They aren’t even really reworked or re-recorded, they just have Slash and Duff slapped on. In some cases, they even have Robin and Bucket. Why didn’t they just put these out in 2016 ? I also wonder if Perhaps was always a contender- was the name mention anywhere prior to the 2019 leaks?
Better late than never , I guess
Well exactly. Like, it's the same version with Slash and Duff slapped on...that ultimately doesn't really bring anything different to the table. So why the delay from 2009-2021/3!! They could've put this out in 2010/2011 EASILY! WHAT THE FUCK

2010
I have a few second clip from older than that recorded on a flip phone (most likely) at a private party. You can make out some instrumental and it sounds like Axl is saying "one time". The original poster said they also played Better, and after showing interest in the other song to the dude with the laptop playing DJ, he realized he knew there could be trouble and flaked out. He contemplated stealing the laptop.
haha that's what I was originally thinking and then reverted to 2011 haha

And basically identical to the 2000 demo. This song did not receive a major overhaul. If you heard the demo you've basically heard the finished version. 23 years!
