They were one of my favorite bands, which is why I can’t bear to see him up there sounding like Mickey Mouse and gasping for air. It’s embarrassing

When are people on these boards going to realize they don't have the data and insights that the concert promoters have.  Live Nation wouldn't book a stadium if they didn't have the data that a stadium would sell.  The band makes the same amount of money whether one ticket or all the tickets are sold.  It's the promoter choosing the venue, the venue choosing the ticket prices etc.  

 

Last time everyone said the tour would sell poorly and then stadiums like MetLife and Fenway park were full.  

I dunno. Look at how Motleys August stadium run is selling. Not very good. They might paper tickets to fill it up but the demand wasn’t there like the last run

Point stands that new music from most legacy acts isn't gonna move tickets. 

They only release certain tickets for certain presales, which is why there may not be a lot of tickets available at the moment. Sometimes you’re better off waiting until the general onsale. There’s no way GnR sold out a show in presales on first day in 2023. That “demand” wasn’t even there in 2016 when there was actual demand. And new music isn’t going to move tickets. It doesn’t for any of these bands. But someone like Alice Cooper puts out new music all the time, even if only one song or so is added to the set. His reasoning: my fans want to hear new music.  Yeah, it doesn’t sell like hot cakes but it’s a good example of giving the hardcore fans something and the general public something. Everyone wins

I don’t think they performed abbreviated versions of the songs. There’s one part in You Could Be Mine that has a bad edit. Probably whoever put this video together just making a highlight reel. Plus this would require the band to learn new versions of all these songs and we know that would’ve required much effort, something Axl doesn’t do  

To be fair, I wouldn’t know what to ask him either since the band does nothing but tour and put out overpriced box sets

Izzy and Adler could show up at the next show and do Appetite straight through in it's entirety and it won't make any difference because W. Axl Rose is the lead singer in this shit show of a band and he sounds like absolute garbage. This touring nonsense is over from my perspective as far as putting on shows of quality.  As far as raking in loads of cash so Fernando and his children are set up for life, there's still people foolish enough to spend their hard earned money on this nonsense

2009-2014 wasn’t as fat considering the mess he looks like now

Yep. This brand has been fried since 2018. It’s only getting worse. Which is a shame because I’ll go back and watch videos from the AC/DC tour and the first summer reunion stadium tour, and it’s just amazing. It’s actually depressing to watch comparing it to now. 

He shouldn’t even be I the top 500 considering how awful he is live. Beyoncé at 8 and Roy Orbison at 71? Unreal. 

So Bob Dylan is one of the few 100 people that listened to that Duff album. Probably got a promo copy in the mail
