For everyone complaining they didn’t let Frank re-record the drums, you have to take this into consideration …when Brain re-recorded them in 2001 they were all set up at the Village and still on Geffen’s dime. By the time Geffen stopped writing the checks for the studio, they had completed all the drums. They have this stuff already recorded and it’s a lot more cost effective to have Slash and Duff throw down some guitar tracks in their home studio rather than trying to recreate this drum sound. Plus Frank sucks anyways so fuck that

Because people are neurotic. There was never any mention in the description of the Perhaps 7” that The General was EXCLUSIVE to the vinyl. If it was supposed to be a record exclusive they would’ve advertised it as such. People just make shit up, like that the leak wasn’t the final mix

Teaser sounds exactly the same as the leak because the leak is the final mix. It’s so bizarre how there’s conspiracies it wasn’t a final mix just because people don’t like it. The General that leaked is the final version for better or for worse

They should just let him. It’s not like GnR sells them after the shows and would be missing out on income. Then again this management team doesn’t have much experience outside the GnR circus so they don’t understand real business choices.
