I can’t speak for the European tour as those dates stayed the same, but the North American tour had refunds offered. I don’t think they can legally not offer refunds in the event of a postponement.

Refunds are a contractural issue. And ALWAYS offered via Ticketmaster if a show gets cancelled OR postponed. Pre Covid it was 60 days after the announcement of a cancellation and/or 60 days after a new date is announced. Post covid I think these are down to 30 days.

That's one show, and a handful of others. The remainder of those shows sold out or sold very well.

To say AC/DC fans don't want to hear it is a stretch. Yes, 100% they want Brian on stage and Phil Rudd. But in their absence if they cannot perform, the fans are pretty happy with Axl in 2016 after they hearing him and after he brought back deep cuts and they were happy with Rudd's replacement in California.

If AC/DC went out on the road with Axl while Brian was capable of singing then almost no AC/DC fan would want to support them... But AC/DC would still sell a lot of tickets regardless. It's a different situation when the singer has to leave the band because he can't physically do it, and in that instance getting a top star to cover is more than acceptable.

Hoping that Brian gets his voice a bit more together and gives a decent show when they hit the road, so ACDC  can go out with a proper roar!

NGL - I went to Axl/DC in nyc at MSG.. it was, and remains, one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. The few refunds that happened saw those seats sell out immediately after Axl was announced and the stand by line was easily 300+ people when we walked in.

Not sure about other markets but nyc was sold out as fuck. He sounded great too, and every last one of us walked out with very positive opinions.

  3. An hour of catching up to this thread but holy crap, hadn’t this story been talked about for ages though?

I picked a bad time to get busy at work - hope yall have a good thanksgiving but between Nandi and This - well… SHIT.

Having read the RS article.. ugh I’m done with the internet until Monday if I can help it. I fucking hate, hate, hate this….

It's risky for Kat's career to just throw out accusations without proof, bands do follow this shit and how a photographer operates. I (as a concert/band photographer myself)  do think it's odd she says she was a freelancer during the whole 20 years, while being paid for the job and photos travel etc.. Usually that means the band owns the photos you take and they paid for. Who pays good money to a photographer to follow them around and have exclusive access to the band, just to not own said photos? Of course the photographer should always be credited, regardless of ownership, but it all sounds odd to me.. Maybe it's a US thing or just poorly managed, no contracts and agreements.

The no contracts/freelancer thing is VERY MUCH an American thing to avoid giving get benefits. Spot on comment though… she’d never throw these  accusations out without proof, and lawyers would be hesitant to take this on considering it’s such a huge band. Well, good lawyers at least… as someone said earlier, here we thought it would all be boring post tour.. nope, Fernando had to go ahead and fuck with the legacy.

Damn it I wanted to waste more time on this shit even though I have 400 unread emails…

damn you @Stay.Of.Execution - you’re attention to detail today is perfection for a worker trying not to work!

    Wait… seriously???

re: the DiCaprio stuff? I’ve always felt sorry for Axl being alone, he doesn’t strike me the type but whatever. Would these leeches even have gotten an invite to the DiCaprio party otherwise??

ugh now I gotta go google this shit instead of working 🤣

GNR/GUNDAM/TEAM BRAZIL/LEBEIS did not pay social security taxes. 95. GNR/GUNDAM/TEAM BRAZIL/LEBEIS did not provide any employee benefits. 96. GNR/GUNDAM/TEAM BRAZIL/LEBEIS did not provide or contribute to unemployment insurance or worker’s compensation fund. 97. GNR/GUNDAM/TEAM BRAZIL/LEBEIS did not withhold federal income taxes, FICA, or state income taxes.

Note to self, dont take a job with GNR

More specifically, members of GNR and TEAM BRAZIL- Fernando Lebeis, Vanessa Lebeis, Duff McKagan, Slash, Brian Klein, and Jeff Varner (Slash’s Manager)-all had access to private drop box where the Benzova Photographs were delivered and offered for distribution.

So Richard, Frank Dizzy and Melissa didn't get a say in pictures using them? Damn

I think that’s part of her claim that she was kept as an “independent contractor/freelancer” - having had jobs like this, you aren’t entitled to any benefits unless you work **I think** 1250 hours in a year (in some states maybe less/more I’m not a labor lawyer)

I’ve had gigs not schedule me in Dec at all because I’d hit that number and they’d owe me insurance the next calendar year. If I had to guess, only employees of Team Brazil directly and *maybe the band members got insurance and benefits through these companies.

I believe her not because she Is a woman, I believe her because she has receipts, interesting when she was in Brazil  in 2022 she was happy in her instagram...and suddenly she was in USA...AND the tour keep going

Oh I agree with you. It really bothers me that some pricks are questioning this as it’s clear she has receipts. She’s pointing out specifics dates and instances going back 10yrs, plus mentioning emails and texts. I mean…. We’ll see I guess. Sucks that this happened, but it (SADLY) happens all the time.

Dummy, the document states how she suffered mentally from her experience of sexual harassment by him. But there's no point in arguing with a potential predator. Go on.

There’s always someone who will defend Nando… I’m sure TB trolls are all over these threads..

thing is, people have been “joking” about him on various ways of being incompetent and “creepy”, women mostly, and while I am firm on making sure someone isn’t defamed publicly, it seems most of us aren’t at all surprised at this. that says a lot. Plus his attitude and general vibe towards fans has been, interesting to say the least.

someone had said previously about how the RS statement seems like it only covered the copyright stuff at the sexual harassment stuff is the curve ball, after re-reading I somewhat agree.

really curious to see how this all plays out. As a woman, in this industry no less, I believe her.

This is what happens when you let a glorified house keeper and her family manage a multi-million dollar business. No accountability, no oversight, no organisational procedures or HR. No professionalism. Free ticket to abuse.

Absolutely all of this. I’m so disappointed in all of them.

I immediately thought this too…. I fucking hope not. Honestly…

and what @batatadocejust pointed out above you is HORRIBLE. I wonder if this gets worse…

1183. This belief in futility was reasonable and supported because ,on or about October 2022, when Benzova attempted to reach out Beta Lebeis, mother of Fernando Lebeis and manager of AXL Rose, Beta ridiculed and demeaned Benzova stating the only reason she is where she is in her life is because of her son.

Yeah I don’t know this one either. Who’s this dude and what’s his role and why is he disliked?

    Here we go again 🤣

a few convos have been had about him.

he is basically a rich guy with connections in the modeling industry that gets young, pretty girls to do… young pretty girl things for rich and powerful men. He’s part of the TB camp.

The GN'R business entity (Gundam) is among the defendants in her lawsuit, so she has sued the band, too, and Axl, Slash and Duff are named in the lawsuit document for being the band.

Ohhh I missed that - I thought all those properties were TB.

ALSO… lol… izzy stayed away, perhaps (sorry can’t help myself there) because he SAW/KNEW the writing on the wall. He doesn’t strike as a TB apologist in the same way Slash and Duff are.

Not to joke about any of this of course, but  we’ve all made wacky assumptions about this “management” crew for a long time. Cant really deny it anymore that they are scumbags.

The interesting thing will be, what if Axl backs Fernando?  Could it be the end of the band of Axl backs TB and Slash and Duff back Kat

    + @Blackstar

its why we as gnr fans can’t have nice things…

like I’ve said previously regarding Fernando and Andre - none of this is news to anyone in the industry.

what IS news is just how DEEP he went at the women in the gnr camp. Plenty of credit to share, it’s not about him.

The screengrabs being posted are painting a crazy picture… like Axl really empowered this piece of shit to be this way. I can’t imagine he’s happy about any of this.

zero chance that “the big 3” didn’t know btw - it’s a pretty calculated move she didn’t name them in her lawsuit. She is going straight at the person responsible, not the guaranteed paycheck.

    i think she’s taking a stand here.

how tall, in your opinion, do you need to be as a man to be a 'baller'? what is it that prevents short guys from being ballers?

Lol I think the average height in the NBA is like 6 foot 2 so let’s go with that.

I simply meant that he has always thought very… highly… of himself. And behaved like king of the world.. Even though he’s literally the band assistant.

Baller is.. a lifestyle I guess.. Nando ain’t no baller, same way short dictators around the world are no ballers either 🤣

ill be coming back all day though - I imagine the comments on here are going to be classic!

  16. Good on yall for liking and ranking this stuff.. I’ve given it all quite a few listens but am somewhere between “meh” and “meh overproduced” on all of them. For me personally, I simply don’t like them. Again just an opinion but it’s interesting to see some of those 8s and 9s. I just… don’t hear that. Carry on!

ohh I just saw a 10 in there too? Geez, I mean opinions are opinions but none of these are a friggin 10, come one😂
