  1. Pretty funny to see that these are already been removed. Imageshack/photobucket censorship!

Just removed because too many people have viewed them.

Or because one of our esteemed mods is a fucking narc. Technically the material is under copyright protection, and I'm sure the mods all got signed copies of this edition along with their STFU backstage passes.

  2. MSL told me on his forum that all the mods he had spoken to in PMs knew he was telling the truth but they were telling a different story in public. You can believe that or not, but to me it makes a lot of sense to think someone from within the inner circle of GN'R has made promises to these individuals in exchange for their compliance.

  3. This is definitely what fascinates me the most. There was a pretty good RS article written during that time-there were stories that he went through a lot of past life regression therapy and presumably did a lot of soul searching. If that's the case, I think he was most likely being manipulated by a lot of the typical Sedona charlatans, because he certainly didn't seem to find any sort of inner peace through the process.

I know how a lot of people feel about the info MSL claims to have, but this is what I am primarily interested in-gaining some sort of understanding of Axl which he doesn't seem to want to share for whatever reason.

  4. hey dude, have you ever been to a GNR concert lately?

so... how about attending one, whenever you'll get the chance if ever GNR will start a new tour.

    already have, what of it?

look man, I'd written it already,

so, go be pretentious and a man of few words somewhere else,

here, I'm inside me, your're not fulling anyone.

from my perspective, you are a good forum poster but have no perspective on the whole picture.

chating is fine but it's waste of time.

    ...

yes I know you won't understand much of this, and you'll come back with some empty 2 lines answer,

but this is not intended. what it is, for you to remind me if I'll ever forget and reply to one of your posts,

that I wrote here today I wouldn't no more.

Agreed. moreblack's two word or so posts are annoying. Those don't contribute really anything. This isn't MSN.

Does post long, rambling, redundant commentary somehow convey more meaning?

  5. Has anyone been able to download the single yet? I checked a little while ago and the countdown had 8 minutes on it and when I checked back the page wouldn't load. I guess the server's overloaded.

  6. I'll give it a listen.

    Julian's solo album was cool.

I love that album. The mixture of 80's synths with modern guitars was a cool idea, and there are a lot of different songwriting styles on it.

  7. so, No GNR are not a thing of the past, but of the present.

and just to prove my point, let's see how the media will react wheh the next thing GNR would do,

be that a USA tour or the release of some music - and I'm telling you, the media will cover it! all of it, all of the main media man,

because this band - GNR is big. ok!? it's big.

and has the potential to wipe out the likes of U2 from the position of the best band in the world

with one single music video. just one. even with a song from now 2 years old Chinese Democracy album,

    or one completely new.

    it doesn't matter which one,

it doesn't. because, by general standards, GNR have a cool music to listen to on TV or radio,

but in the human world were everything is about seeing, you need a music video to promote your music.

    that's that.

    .

Oh my God, that is delusional at best.

    will see.

you definitely weren't around in 1991-1992

to get it how did the music videos of GNR were played on and on all over the place.

because if you were, you wouldn't consider my take on the matter as delusional.

During that time, MTV still played videos, so labels were willing to spend millions making them. It doesn't work that way anymore.

  8. I knew this was true in 1993 when everyone in my school showed up one day with long greasy bleached blond hair, baggy torn jeans, converse all stars and Nirvana t-shirts. At that moment, atleast in the US, Guns N Roses had become "your fathers band". I was really into the Seattle movement myself but I also liked Guns N Roses so it was a bit odd to walk around and hear everyone talking about how horrible TSI was along with the band who made it.

That was certainly true at the time. Some of the younger kids I talk to that are into indie and punk do recognize GN'R's legacy, but at this point it's not even a niche. It's a niche within a niche. That's true for rock in general now though, and it has just as much to do with piracy as it does the popularity of other genres.

  9. I had completely forgot about Cartoons. Fuck. Not a pleasant surprise to be reminded of that shit. Like last week when I started to think of Mamba No 5 and couldn't get it out of my head, :scared:

Other than that, I completely agree with Stoner.

Well, it's sthe shittiest thing that came to mind. :P I don't know where it came from either. Scary.

Agree. I have been lucky to have forgotten about this through all years.

    Since you did this to me, I'll return the favour and give you a worthless song to be stuck in your head;

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Ui_MVLPRS4

OK, enough of that now. You got me. :P

And Bax, it has nothing to do with black or white. I for one never got into the Beatles. I don't know why not, but it just isn't my cup of tea. Will however gladly admit that they are better than some of the bands I listen to.

What criteria do you use to define what band is better than another? I might agree with your taste in some instances and disagree in others. How are you going to determine who is right? You can't.

I don't have the energy to bang my head against the wall arguing with metalheads,so adios.

  10. I don't spend my life trying to get people to agree with me. So I honestly don't give a fuck. That's why this forum sucks-everyone sees things in terms of black and white when that's just not reality.

  11. There's just no way to objectively say one band is better than another. It's a matter of individual taste. You can have endless arguments about it, but you won't convince anyone to change their opinion.

I'm at work, and I don't really have time to really go into this, but imo, you perfectly can. In your opinion, is it impossible to objectively say that this for example (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zj3mKYASycg) is objectively better than this (

    )?

It's the same with food. Wouldn't you agree that a menu at a five-star top-of-the-bill restaurant is better than eating a hamburger menu at Mcdonalds? Yes, you can enjoy both just as much, but without a doubt, the first is objectively better than the latter.

I might agree with your opinion on both counts, but 100% of people won't. Therefore it's not objective.
