Dude, you are right, this blew my mind. I'm DOWNLOADING this and putting it on my GNR Unreleased playlist with things like Just Another Sunday, it fits right in. This is for me for all intents and purposes from now on an unreleased song from those sessions where Too Much Too Soon etc. came from. This vocal REALLY does actually sound like how he would sing it.

My -ears- don't know that Axl didn't record this, only my brain does. I can easily ignore the mental part, so my ears are gonna have a fucking awesome time listening to this.

Haha yes! Glad someone else hears what I hear. I am struggling to understand how this actually works, like I know this isn't Axl, but it sounds like a perfect replica. If he won't release music I'm more than happy to listen to fake robot Axl instead in the mean time 😆

I'm thinking that the tech is basically here where I'll be able to click a button and hear Axl singing lead vocals on all 10 of Izzy's solo albums. I never in my life thought this would be possible, it's wild.

  2. I've been back in Scotland for the last 6 months or so as I picked up a stray doggie friend whilst in Albania. It turned out she had heartworms and needed treatment/rest but pleased to say she has finished her medication and had no sign of heartworms on her last trip to the vets :)

We've started exercising her slowly and will take her on little adventures around Scotland for now, then heading back to Europe after the summer when AirBNB prices aren't so insane. Think we're gonna start in northern Spain and make our way east across Europe over the winter months :)

On another note does anyone know what happened to the music made during VR years  with Izzy (pre singer) that Slash said in his autopbiography would have been the best GnR record ever?

It's only fan speculation but there's this...

In Slashs bio there's a photo of 'The Project' (Izzy/Slash/Duff) saying they may or may not be working on a song called SNAFU.

There's also similarities between 'Bomb' and 'Do It For The Kids'.

Velvet Revolvers album came out in 2004 and Izzy's Like A Dog in 2005, but the Dog album was actually recorded in April/May 2003. That would put it around the time of The Project right?

  4. Night 1 of Mania was awesome. The Dom/Rey segment was great, haha Dom's entrance was one of the best in years. Crazy how much he has progressed in just a few years, it's like night and day when you compare his work from just a few years back.

Night 2 of Mania went way down hill. I didn't mind Roman winning, I expected it to be honest and thought it was a great match (one of only 2 good matches that night for me - the other being the Gunther/Drew/Sheamus match).

    Raw was a boring mess.

Can't wait to see what happens on Smackdown

AI generating the world you choose to be in and through your digital existence you are able to control your life and everything in your simulation

World building AI is a thing already, just saw this earlier today:

What you're seeing is someone typing a description of the world they'd like to create on the left hand side, and on the right it's using AI to generate it in a game engine instantly. Folk will soon be able to build their own GTA type world, stick on their VR headset and explore their digital universe.

AI is expected to wipe out 300 million jobs in the near future  It's gonna be a shitshow, but fortunately we have our world politicians to guide us through it and looking out for us all (lol)

  6. Merry F'N Christmas everyone

I have something very special planned this Christmas day. I'm going to watch the final ever episode of ITV's adaptation of Agatha Christies Hercule Poirot :D I've been putting it off for years because it's the last ever episode of one of my favourite TV shows. I already know the outcome of the episode which is why I delayed watching it for so many years, but the host of a Poirot podcast that I listen too actually dropped down dead at age 36 earlier this year and they too had avoided watching the last ever episode for the same reason. It's kinda spurred me into action to finally watch it just incase I too drop dead unexpectedly ^_^

But Izzy is also the same man who cashed in a big payout and abandoned GNR for a very long time and wanted equal pay for the Reunion and refused to come back because they didn't want to give him equal pay. Izzy once again cashed out a big payout....😒

(In my opinion) Izzy doesn't need GNR, he doesn't need the money and he doesn't want the fame. Seems like he is perfectly happy living his own under-the-radar lifestyle. If GNR wants to disrupt his life and bring him back into their circus then it's up to them to make him an offer that's acceptable.

  8. Izzy, because he "hates the machine" (as Taz put it).

He wrote the songs, cashed his cheques, and fucked off when it got too crazy

Now he just travels, rides motorcycles, goes surfing, skateboards, pimps out cars for desert racing and apparently grows avacados ....... He's also put out 10 records, which he doesn't bother to promote because he doesn't want to; and he occassionally turns up to perform live with GNR, VR, Adler etc but again he seems to do it entirely on his own schedule and whenever the fuck he pleases :rofl-lol:

Jep, that was at Jardin Exotique in Eze. Quite a drag walking up there but really worth it :D

Cool, I thought I recognised it. I've probably posted my own photos from Jardin Exotique in this same thread somewhere :) I only get to see my older brother once a year and for the last couple of years we've met up in Roquebrune-cap-martin which is just down the road from Eze.

This is a post where I wish I could add multiple "likes".

Thanks SoulMonster. She's a wonderful girl. Just wish I could do something to help all the other street dogs in Albania. I had a few ideas but it's hard when you already work a full time job, have a family to care for, and now a dog who needs all my attention. Hoping I can go back in a year or two and maybe do something :)
