November Rain, I just think it's too long. Coma has the same issue but at least the end of Coma kicks ass. I just don't enjoy listening to songs that are 10 minutes long

Time for November Rain to go

Would love to buy a VR headset and a 360 degree motion simulator chair some day There's a few cool ones on the market like the Yaw:
The one I really want costs about $10,000 currently so I'm either gonna have to go to China to buy in person cheaper, or wait for prices to drop significantly
^ This shit looks insane lol, imagine having this in your living room! I'd hook it up with the No Limits 2 rollercoaster simulator game and literally have thousands of rollercoasters to ride at home

I just landed a job working for a store that sells hemp and CBD products. It's the only interview I've had where the correct answer to the question "Do you smoke weed" is 'Yes'
Congrats on the new job! I stopped smoking weed quite a while back as I found it too strong these days but have occassionally smoked CBD when on holiday and I happen to walk past a CBD shop. That smell of weed just pulls me in everytime Can't say if it has any real effect but thats what I like about it, means I can still get shit done without walking around like a zombie lol.

Supposed to be moving to Poland in just over a month so of course Putin has decided now is the perfect time to start his invasion into Eastern Europe

Scrambled, fried, poached, hard boiled, soft boiled.... I'll eat any type Served with toast, salted butter and a dash of black pepper and I'm happy.
You can test if an egg is fresh by putting it in a bowl of cold water and seeing if it lays flat on the bottom (good), stands on its end (not as fresh) or floats (bad)

Wembley Arena '06 - the same night they done the definitive version of Sailing!!!!
I believe they also performed "Ya Gotta Move" that night too, with Izzy and Del James singing lead? Quite a few obscure numbers played that night I think.

Paris in January for my birthday was cancelled due to Frances covid restrictions
This last week my girlfriend handed in her resignation in preparation for us moving to Poland for 3 months in April so thats some good newsBtw @Dazey if you still need a place for your wife/kid you could maybe look at trustedhousesitters.com. I've not used the site myself but it looks pretty interesting. They'd get to live in someones house for free in exchange for looking after the owners home/pets/plants/etc. You can search by "duration" so you can look for a home available for say 6+ months if they wont want to move about to much.

Uploading to YouTube or licensing to Netflix would be more beneficial in my opinion. It would reach a much larger audience. Does anyone even buy physical media anymore outside of hardcore fans?

I'd like to see "Sailing" back in the setlist, then maybe an official release/soundboard recording of it

I've never heard Ain't Goin Down so that would actually be a new GNR song for me if they do release it
Was it ever released on a bootleg or something? I thought it was only available on the GNR pinball machine so never thought of looking for an mp3 for some reason. Think it's the only GNR song I've never heard so hope it's a banger

I've recently started watching Westerns so thanks all for the huge list of recommendations already given in the thread Of those mentioned "3:10 To Yuma" has been my favourite that I've seen.
I'm currently on my 2nd watch through of "Godless" series on Netflix, would definitely recommend if you haven't seen it yet, fantastic cinematography throughout
Also "There Will Be Blood" is great. It's about a silver-miner-turned-oilman on a ruthless quest for wealth during Southern Californias oil boom of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Not a western exactly as its set slightly later, but it has that old wild west feel to it. -
Going to Disneyland Paris in January. Hoping it will be low crowd levels due to the time of year and the global pandemic..... fingers crossed I won't have to queue for 90 minutes to get on Crush's Coaster this time
If I could have any career in the world I would love to be a theme park vlogger. Imagine getting paid to just fanny about in theme parks every day, travelling the world and riding coasters. Sounds awesome, except for the whole "having to vlog" part

the big bang was hypothesized by a Catholic Priest. Mind blown right!
I'd never heard that, that's pretty cool I wish I was clever enough to understand more about the origins of space, time, life etc but whenever I do read up on it or watch a Youtube video I quickly get confused
For me it's mostly just the occasional passing thought, it must be infuriating to those who study this kind of thing for a career knowing that they'll more than likely never find the answers they're looking for (whether thats "Where do we come from?", "Are their aliens?" or "Is their a God?" etc)
-
Started thinking last night about space in general, life on earth, and aliens, and where we all come from etc.....
I don't believe in a God, I believe in science and the big bang and all that jazz..... but what caused the big bang? If atoms or whatever collided to cause this explosion, then where did those atoms come from?
If they were just drifting about in space and collided to cause life on earth I can accept that, but where did the atoms come from, or even the blackness of space for that matter?
Whether it was God or we're part of a massive simulation or whatever, either way I always go back to "Where did that come from?"
If there is a God, how the fuck did he just magic himself into existence one day and invent billions of miles of space with the occasional life supporting planet........? For God to exist surely he had to be born, so he must have parents..... where the fuck did they come from? If we're just part of a simulation on a super computer then who created the computer...... argghhhh!
Times like this I wish I still smoked pot

Nice.
On first listen I thought it was "Try'na get me motivated, livin' when I'm constipated", so glad to realise I was mistaken
Edit: actually, I hear it as "living with the constant pain" rather than "living within constant fear".
I thought it was constipated at first too 😆 It's only my attempt at transcribing so it's probably wrong lol

The full clip of the previously unheard Izzy song has been shared by Tomoko
We think it might be an unreleased Ju Ju Hounds songs called "Motivated" based on the lyrics:
"Try'na get me motivated,
living within constant fear,
yeh yeh yeh yeh,
serenitys been killin me,
I will not be so humble,
yeh yeh yeh yeh,
think Im gonna pack a bag and disappear into sunset,
maybe I will see you later ..........??.......... call you....
da na na na...."

A small snippet of a never before heard song being performed by Izzy in Japan 1993 on the radio was posted on twitter. Hopefully the full song will be shared 🙂 Skip to about 45 seconds in to hear the clip.
