  1. Axl never seems to party with the band. So, are they friends of Axl, or more towards work colleagues.

It comes across that Axl was more friends with the old band at that time compared this new band at the present.

    Thoughts?

  2. You posted that reply already from Fortus, didn't you?

I like Fortus alot. Wish he would get to do more.

Yeah but the forum was hacked not long after so not many people would have seen it. And it sorta back up the point at there is discussion and they'res flaming the band for things like beutiful so much the band are getting pissed off at people complaining.

I'm glad he has a solo unlike in 2002.

  3. Talking to fans at the shows, and reading through threads. People are FAR TO FUCKING PICKY. If someone points out something so minor they flame Axl for it, example "loose the confetti", "Play more new songs", "play something we know", "wear differant clothes", "Less solos at the shows" "Beutiful sucks". And I know they're is litterally hundreds more. If Axl changes something YOU don't like, a bunch of fans will be dissapointed about what it ever it is because it's changed. People argue about things they know nothing about, the biggest being "where's the album", there's obviously an explination to why it's not out. And with an insecure set BAND it's obviously going to take longer.

But it's when people complain about the smallest things. I mean someone will go to a show, enjoy themselves and come on the interenet and say "I didn't like Axl's shirt that he wore in the blues". Does it matter? The most elusive man in music is playing a rock show a few meters away and your complaining? And your supposed to be a fan? Now, that's just one example, many other minor things people bitch about.

It's gets to a stage where Axl has to rant about it since 2001.

I aksed Richard about Beutiful, I like it, everyone can have an opinion. I told him I liked it, here's what he had to say.

    Hi Gordon,

Ya know, we get a lot of shit for doing that song! Fuck em! it's a

great melody. Christine Aguilera didn't write it, this friend of mine

called Linda Perry (4 non Blondes), wrote it. The first time i heard

it on the radio, I thought that Jeff Beck would do a really lovely

version. So, when Robin and I were looking for a song to do together,

I thought of that one. I'd only heard it on the radio once or twice.

I don't think it was that popular in the US. I think it's hilarious

that it's Christine Aguilera! Seems like most people don't think it's

very funny though. Again, fuck 'em if they can't take a joke! I like

the song and I think we do a great version. Really glad to hear that

you agree. THanks for your kind words. Oh, and yes, i do break

strings! THough i use really heavy strings and change them every day.

Look forward to seeing you at Wembley! Those shows will be great, just

because they are the last ones! Plus, it's London. Gn'R loves London!

  4. I got a VIP ticket!!! ;)

I'll say Hi to Axl from everyone.

You DO realise you are not guaranteed to meet Axl or any of the other members of the band?

If you read what it offers, it doesn't say you meet the band, it says you go to private parties, have a private bar and get backstage access.

    BACKSTAGE access.

    NOT Access All Areas

I hate to be the bearer of bad news and bring you down from your high, but there isn't a strong chance you'll meet good ol' Uncle Axl.

Yes, I know very well and even if I don't it'll be worth it for me. Although, last night of the tour, I should hope some member pop in for a drink.

I wasn't being an #######/bitter I was just hoping you realised so you didn't too excited at the thought of meeting Axl only to not meet him and realised you'd wasted the money.

I was planning on doing it but I thought the price was a bit steep for no guarantee of meeting the band.

Yeah I know, the party after is only for an hour and after a show I would think the band would want to go have a shower and rest. So I knew about the chance of them turning up. But remember, people pay ridiculous prices for things on pay day. ;)

  5. Isn't Wembley a soccer stadium and fits about 70,000? or is this a different venue, isn't Wembly the place the freddie mercury show was held

That's Wembley stadium, the concert is at Wembley Arena, across the road from it. Under the same management though.

  6. Damn, I can't ######' wait for this!!!!

I've never seen GNR before, and I'm getting to see them twice this summer. This is ######' awesome.

How do we keep ourselves entertained until then? Time is going in so slow. It's like being 5 waiting on christmas to come.

I was going through London underground on tuesday and I loads of spare time so I thought #### it I'll go check out the venue so I know exactly where it is. I come out of hammersmith station and it was straight ahead of me, went up to it. No posters or nothing to say GNR are playing there, ###### whitesnake were playing that night. Perhaps GNR aren't playing there and it's all just a big con because we're all guilible. :o

Hopefully the guns won't come on too late, cause I would hate to wait hours, and transport back will be hellish.

  7. I got a VIP ticket!!! ;)

  8. So say GNR arrive in London on the 21st, they play at Madrid on the 25th. Leaving only those few days in between to shoot a video? plus they would have to squeeze rehearsals in for Madrid. And probably having to rehearse what will be happening in Rio.

The time isn't enough for a video or parts of a video, as we all know Axl would want to re-shoot and re-shoot like he records. To get it perfect.

And having all the time in the past few years to shoot a video they choose to shoot when they are on tour leaving pressure and little time?

  9. Perhaps he was genuinly happy because he was showing the world what all his hard work has done. I also think that he hasn't really had a woman in years that he never had troubles with. He's just started dating, so who knows, that could be a boost for him.

Everyone all round has improved since 02. Perhaps the departure of buckethead made this so? Or 4 more years of practise on the songs.

  10. Bumble was cool last night. It was the first time I seen and heard in action last night. I was expecting him to be another idiot like Buckethead. I was wrong. He looked cool, played cool. There might not be much between him and bucket, I mean they both have skill and to which IS better is down to opinion. But Bumblefoot doesn't make GNR look like a joke, where as buckethead did.

Bumblefoot and Slash... To differant to even compare.

    I prefer Richard to Bumble.
