This thread reminds me that I didn't see any touts at all at the gig! first gig i've been to where I haven't had touts coming up to me with "tickets buy or sell... buy or sell tickets".

They were there at the 29th. It was weird because they dont look right at you and you think there talking to someone else when there saying it. Ever notice that? It was the same guy at Hammersmith as well.

I think Axl done the Europian tour first because he cancelled it in 2001/2.

Bare in mind the the two wembley shows (especially the 29th) had a differant set list, with the cover songs.

For those that never new, Merck came out after Paradise City and explained why Axl left. He said that they WILL come back to Europe next year.

Personally I thought it was the most Rockin' Roll performance of Nightrain. I loved the fact (even though not for the positive) that Bach came out. He ended it really well.

Although I went VIP on the 30th there was no contact with the band what-so-ever. That was a little dissapointing.

Axl barely spoke at these shows, read names out on the 29th, but that was about it.

I managed to bootleg both concerts on audio. The first 4 songs didn't record on the 29th, but apart from that it's full and good quality. Still needing someone to transfer it to CD for me, any takers?

It was quite funny because I left my hotel on the 30th went to the arena at 9 in the morning and there was already someone quing. If anyone seen me I was wondering about the arena wearing my GNR flag and weaking shades.

Well, it depends, if the solos were like the blues, #### and IRS then yeah.

On the other hand if the album is like his actual solos that he plays in between songs then no.

Okay, I'll be friendly... You posted this in the wrong place. There is a Manchester board for your concert. Advice is simple though, standing (if your die hard) que 2 hours before latest. Sitting, it dont matter when you rock up.
