  1. Right I'm hearing more and more about these formats. Although these havn't reached the uk yet they are supposed to be by christmas.

To import is a rediculous cost for a dvd player. So, what are the differances? I know, they are only available on Region 1 so that's why this question is directed to the American members.

Can they be hacked into multi-region?

    Can the discs be copied?

Is the improved quality only visible on a HD TV??

Can we play our old dvd on these hardware?

    :book:

  2. I'll take this oppertunity to say that Richard replied to me the same day as I sent him an email. None of this waiting 4 months crap.

Anyway, when it comes to bbf "only ask him legit/serious questions" well the only legit questions, apart from guitar advice is on GNR. And the questions we want the answer too he can't answer. So people can only ask him some more basic stuff. For instance, I wanted to know about him and I composed some questions like a survey that he loved answering. About what's his favourite film, music, food..etc!

  3. Dizzy's Profile:

    Film profile:

    Celebrity Art Show

What happens to that creative energy and the unrestricted, non self-censored, free-flow of ideas that reflects who we really are as we transition into adulthood? It seems that in this cyber-focused world of rational thinking, the creative spirit is lost in the over-13 population, or sadly, even in the over-kindergarten group; And so, the Celebrity Art Show has been developed to bring that creative spirit back to young audiences and to show them the fun and stimulating aspects of art; and to hopefully, instill a sense of importance in their creative side that they can take with them into adulthood. By showcasing personal artwork of community celebrities, the documentary aims to inspire young audience members to tap into their own artistic potential. The best of the work will be placed in a worldwide traveling exhibit where it will be open to the public. At the completion of the tour, all of the artwork will be auctioned off, and the profits from both the tour and the auction will be donated to a charity that supports youth and the further appreciation of art.

  4. I used to think Axl was the coolest, but after seeing him live off Appetite for so long my interests are drifting. How can I be excited about twenty year old shit?

    i agree,its really boring

    :sleeper:

So you're yawning while, the lights are out, your at the concert, Robin is Echoing Welcome to the Jungle and you can see flickers of the stage in the flashes of the camera's and Axl shouts "Do you know where the fuck you are" and the place eroups????

your opinion carrys no weight with me, cos i wouldn't go to a gnr concert with finck on guitar

In that case, this place might be better suited for you??

  6. Download was probably the best setlist of 2006, probably the longest setlist.

Then Wembley 29 (izzy on 7 songs), 3 new songs never covered by GNR. Nice surprise.

Download is slightly better as they played more of there own than covering "British songs".

  7. I say this time after time after time.

The magority of fans aren't diehards. They don't look up setlists on the internet. They WANT to hear the old ones live. People were chating for "play something we know" when they did play new songs.

The fans that go don't know or really care about Chinese Democracy. Not every fan that goes to see GNR are like the fans on here.

  8. i've been offline for a few days. i did a search for "gnronline" and didn't come up with any posts, so i figured it had not been discussed. sorry.

Search feature is COMPLETELY useless. Honestly, Eric stresses the use of it so much, yet it doesn't work. Same with finding members on the search as well.

GNRONLINE has been updated for a good couple of weeks now.

  9. Thanks for the replies guys, I appreciate it. Anyways, two more questions....

    What is the current setlist?

    AND...

What time should I be there?

    Thanks again

Setlist could be changed, but look at past concerts of the europian tour board to get a rough idea

    Early as possible.

  10. I went to all 3 GNR concerts myself. It's fine.

You won't get raped or anything. It's a concert! chat to people.

When I was these like 30 year olds said I was a bigger GNR fan than they were cause I knew SOOOO much. Thanks, mainly to this forum I must so. :shades:

  11. Unless the track is the 9th one of the DVD...

Anyway, if you don't have the DVD, I'm not going to send you discs when there is no guaruntee that I will get anything in return. If I was dealing with someone who had the DVD, then it would be a different story.

And to the guy who won't trade 7 very common shows for one very rare show, I don't know what to say to you. I don't like doing it, but if that's what it takes to get a show, I don't mind doing it, seeing as they can get the shows from nearly any trader.

By the way, Almost Famous, I think he wants the multicam proshot, not the Slash's angle DVD, but I could be wrong. Should be sending your package Monday.

Of the fact that I won't trade all these is because A). It's unfair. B)This reason is the main one, it's faaaar to fishy to say something like that. Infact, by that person saying it makes it only sound like they are lying and less gaurantee of the dvd.
