that might of been Wembley 30th. I was there, he came down on "Paradise City". Obviously there was need for him on that song on any performance of it for that matter...

People say "he is important in Madagascar", well why is it the spotlight is on Dizzy during the organ-esque music?? He is NOT needed on the old songs. He might play on them, but when your there live you CANNOT hear his parts. I mean, also on the new stuff, IRS from rock n rio, you heard him on the AOL feed drowning the guitars out, I wouldn't of known he even played on that song if AOL didn't fuck up.

He's playing where no one can hear him and when you can, Dizzy could easily do his parts.

Also what exactly is "effects"?? Lights? Pyros?

It's almost if he should be a backstage roadie guy to be honest.

Also, what's this about Chris having "guitar sounds on his keyboard" Are they necessary? Is that not cheating the audience?

Also, if he's in the band he should have some stage presence, all other members get there solo's or there right up there at the front of the stage and making contact with the crowd. Obviously this would be hard for Pitman, only because his imput, to me, and many others is near enough non-existant.

No one post "GNR is nothing without pitman" because I'm wanting this to stay alive and to have the points discussed.

It's obviously live soundboard versions and the 4 leaks we have had already. Plus studio oh my god.

Well he has two albums under his name called Bring 'Em Bach Alive (live in Japan ('98) album with the some new tracks) and Bach To Basics (cover album ('01)), and they were with a different lineup (I don't know how different, maybe have been completely different or some current members may play). Really they haven't had an album of their own material yet.

Yeah he said he was hoping for an October release at Wembley 29th. They played some new songs, haha, sounded all the same to me but good headbanging stuff.

Okay, after seeing Sebastian 3 times this year at GNR shows, and I love the guys cheesy rock n' roll presence. So I couldn't find any albums with his new band so I went and bought a Skid Row album.

It's actually quite good, very similer to the band he has now though, I thought. I mean the music has the same style.

I mean they touch nothing on Guns, but it's very ACDC/Van Halen like.

How populer were they? I know the opened for Guns back in old days, but how big were they?

Me and W_Axl_Kev have got 7 of our friends hooked. For several years they would slag us say "all you talk about if GNR" Then we let them hear the leaks, they secretly like them. Convince them to go to a show, and now they have agreed to buy the album and see them at the next oppetunity.

Did they just join at the end of January though?

When your friends and family ask you about your guitar you can say that "the guitarist of GNR helped me to pin this one down for me"

I still think it would have been a great tease to have Axl come out with the intro like he did, n' have the opening riff of Jungle bein' played by The Killers, and then have the lights go down n' they break into their song.

Remember, The Killers aren't GNR. The Killers lack a lot of talent that GNR have, so it would take The Killers too long to rehearse and get it right.

I think Axl is planning a West-to-East tour. Add dates as the tour progresses, similer to what he done with Greece and Turkey on the Europian tour. And he announcent UK tour about 2-3 weeks in the europian tour.

My guess it was an old poster advetising something with you UK tour. Or even perhaps the download festivel, I dunno...

Well, I don't think Merck is a fan of GNR, it would be hard to be a fan and there manager. I'm sure he gets on with Axl really well though and when I seen Merck he seemed like a decend guy.

Well, I wouldn't want any other singer to take over. But still I would have a great time, but as someone said it isn't what I paid to see.

Hammersmith 7th June- Front row, first concert touching bumblefoots guitar and him giving me a cheesy grin. It was a small venues and it felt like only diehards were there.

Wembley 29th July- Great WTTJ and the set list was a surprise to see. Best concert out of them all.

Wembley 30th July - Shorter show, but seeing Del james, merck, beta and Sebastion cover axl made up for it.

I remember this last year, we got our hope built up for nothing. Bumblefoot even denied this.

Usually bands tour to promote their album. So, do you think the europian tour and possible the US tour is for video footage for videos for the new songs?

Lets face it GNR always toured before they brought an album out. And there music videos always had live footage. Or most did anyway. I don't think they would use 2002 footage and all there style has changed and with Buckethead not being in the band anymore.

So perhaps the tour was to show the public that GNR are around, to get footage for videos and to build hype?

So it does make sense how we never got a single released on the europian tour or before it. Thoughts?
