It's true all the forums combined won't make a profit and no one cares outside it. They will need to do serious promotion... But... in a way they don't need to. Because, it's GUNS N ROSES.

It's so confusing not being on the GNR band wagon.

Ok Merck has even hinted that they might not promote it and just find it in the stores one day. Although, if you look, promotion has started sometime ago.

I think it's clear Axl has done his own promoting by saying it is this year. Because, anytime now there is a GNR atricle in a magazine (thinking this weeks kerrang) or radio mention, they are all stating chindem to be released this year. It's like free promotion.

I think hardly davidson is the start of the proper promotion, also, the US tour. The big one. GNR will be the talk of the town wherever they are playing, and they will talk of CD being this year. I mean, come to think of it GNR announced the Europe tour weeks before it happened. The US tour about 6 weeks. They're confident in themselves they can announce a tour just before it happens. So why can't it be the same as the record?

I think it's almost certain, and I'm willing to put money on it that it will be November. Regaurdless of Merck denying 21st, I'm willing to say that's a good guess.

one of my speakers isnt working so i noticed the coolest sound.

im not sure which one but if you got headphones take out the one with robins intro riff playing on it in the beginning and that alone sounds cool as hell.

then after that youd normally think that its just that simple little guitar riff going on while axls singing, but if you still got the speaker out and listen VERY carefully youll hear this ice cream truck like music coming very quietly and its FUCKIN DOPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

also if you have the bloody roses remaster of the blues, right where axls all "i dont know just what i should do" if you listen for it chris pittmans got another really cool sounding piece of music in there too.

youd think that hes just a useless addition to the band and thats where all the jokes come from but all he needs to do is have his keyboard turned WAY the fuck up.

all i used to think he was used for was that weird little break in better, but hes actually very good.

I can't get it to work man, cause I have robins intro in both sides of my headphone, so I'm not sure which one you mean. also, I have the guitar riff that follows in both.

Take your speaker cable and take it about half way out from the pc and you will get it. Just play about with the cable conecting into the pc or Ipod or whatever your listening to it on.

Yeah i discovered that better thing a few months ago. Accidently the lead wasn't in correctly and it played this rather differant version of better taking robins parts out. Intro and outro just axl and pitman.

Although the ice cream sound can be heard on rock in rio streamed version from AOL.

And since it was baz that came on they shortened the bumbles solo, it's only like 20 seconds on the outro compared the usually 2 minutes. But all the band thought the same to do the short ending.

I didn't realize CD's release hinged on Axl playing a show he booked in San Diego. The two don't have to depend on each other.

It seems like Idiot Asshole Merck started booking the US "tour," then suddenly realized what everyone around here's known since 2K2... without a fucking album, nobody goes to the shows.

So the braintrust regrouped, decided to put out the album, hired an 8-year-old autistic kid to design the website, and rescheduled the earlier dates. And why not? Do you think they care about the people who already bought tickets? Fuck no.

Please send your Thank You letters to Merck and Axl.

True the shows were selling shitty. However I would like to know there mixing an album than playing one or two shows. I mean, it's more progress with the album, and when you seen them on tour you know for a FACT that they aren't working on the album.

Okay bad planning by the tour promoters. But, hey, the show ISN'T cancelled only postponed. And I've no doubt GNR are playing near where ever it is on the north american tour over the next few months anyway...

From now on, I think we shouldn't say the 2K2 tour was cancelled. We should just say it was postponed until 2K6.

If axl says to bbf you are in the band, here a list of gnr songs old and new i want you to learn for next week at hammerstien. Then, I'm sure he could have learned buckets parts on cd and recoreded them in August/September. CD out late november.
