The good thing about this letter, that people have failed to mention is Axl's sympathy for the fans. This is better than any other info he has stated, we can see he is very apolagetic to the fans, and offering a release date for the first time. It reassures us that we are not getting treated like shit. It's alot better than tommys "people don't know whats going on... Get on board or fuck off".

Now, that "honesty and respect for the fans" thread can be closed now.

Still no explanation for the cancellation of that last show though - However, I wasn't going to it, so I'm not that fussed. Although I'm thinking legal reason it cant be mentioned.

Is there will be a dvd released it will be from Hammersmith, london. There was leaflets asking not to film or take photos. Yet at no other show did that happen

It was London, its one a warm up show for download, small arena... Perfact for a dvd release.

What does Beta say when she posts over HTGH? insults. She has 20 posts I think, and they are 20 posts full of insults towards the fans. She is a COMPLETE bitch. If she were not Beta, she would have been banned for a long, long time. When you read her posts, you want to slam her in the face.

If what your saying is true and if I were a mod, I would have banned her. It's not a beta forum, it's a GNR forum. Why is it that Del James, Merck and now Beta can treat the fans like shit? Who the fuck are they? People to don't pay to see them or care about them. Just because they're in the GNR camp doesn't make them anything special.

I want to make a point to Madison. You like this bakery right. YOuve been going there for years and theyve got really nice food. Sure they dont owe you any kind of courteousy or manners because thats not what your buying - but its good business and good PR that they do treat you nice and they do keep their promises - like when you expect your favourite beef pie to be there every morning - they dont have to have it ready for you but they do. Thats respect two ways. You are loyal to them - so they return the favour. Its the same in this situation. Axl sells and product that we buy - and we keep buying it because we like it but also because we are loyal. The feeling SHOULD be mutual. Big lesson needs to be learnt here.

Yes, BUT! if the manager of the baker says your steak pie will be ordered for tuesday... And it hasn't. He will not speak to you or tell you why you're pie was never made for you. Then surely he has lost a costomer?

However the manager doesn't explain why, of fear of loosing other costomers because there is not steak left and the costomers who would have bought the same pie anyway but also shop for other things like cakes (concert tickets), drinks (older GNR CD's) and sausage rolls (GNR Merch). So by keeping quiet about no steak, still brings the costomers in for other products. Because if he DID tell the costomers there is no steak, then they would shop at another bakers who sells steak and the other products. However in this case, the costomers HAVE the other products, but aren't going to travel across town to the other bakers just for a steak pie.

The band were more 'together' at Wembley, but the experience and atmosphere at Hammersmith was just magical

Probably because they played about 30 shows in between, more time playing together. Although I prefer Brain.

Wembley 29th was the best of all 3 london shows.

From what I've gathered on this forum, it seems that Ireland, Germany, and some other parts of Europe will get it the Friday before everyone else. Then, on the Monday after England and the rest of Europe will get it, followed by the U.S. on the Tuesday. I'm not sure when new albums come out in Asia or Africa.

I had to sell my tickets to see the D twice in London *sobs*. New album is hilarious.

He has walked off newcastle this year, He was REALLY tested at download. He walked on some place in 2002 when they were singing patience.

The security in London in June, were quite big on cameras. These guys know fuck all, the managers tell them he has been known to walk off and jump into the crowd and when he hasn't been noticed for 13 years, quite rightly they should think so.

They've never met him, and neither have we.
