Were the past tours also promoted like this, with a build up until the tickets are on sale and some sort of marketing like the Nascar thing? Because if not, maybe, just maybe there's really something bigger behind all this than just another tour.

But this is GNR so there's most likely no logic behind it.

Looks like it's just called the 2023 world tour. So I wouldn't bet on it supporting an album

  2. I'm beggining to think this isn't a full European tour.

Im assuming they had to do Glasgow, and see what was available last minute around Europe as the main festivals would have been booked up.

I'm thinking around 8 shows maximum for Europe. I think we would have heard alot more roumers if it was an 18 show type tour.

I see Hyde Park General Admission is now sold out. With over four months to go & hopefully some strong support it’s gonna do very well.

It would be a great show to film. Hyde park does look pretty spectacular & the big wrap around screen will be good for the graphics.

I hope something is coming. If they are doing Glasto it’s an opportunity to really boost awareness again to wider audiences.

    GA isn't sold out

For some reason there 3 GA options. One which lets you in an hour earlier. 1 of the 3 GA options is sold out.

Vigo makes sense as it's on the border with Portugal they will also get Portuguese fans and more chances for a sold out show.

Most likely the tour opener. Portugal/Ireland are usually a tour opener or closer for most bands.

Wth June 12 being roumered, which is unfortunately a Monday, will most likely be the opening show.

  5. Why would Glastonbury hold up all these other dates, when Glastonbury allegedly doesn't pay out great amount to it's acts?

I can't think of any other Festival having the power to hold up an announcement. Surely they are losing sales by the day it's not announced with people opting to spend their money elsewhere and book up their summer.
