    now this is purely speculation on my part, but guns was the fist ever band to play at the cat house. And they are probably going to do a warmup show or something in may before the euro tour. So it would make alot of sense for Axl to have guns play this thing. Axl is friends with Riki afterall...

    Booking Group Manager for Roskilde Festival says May is the month

    The head of the Roskilde Festival told Danish Radio P3 that Guns N' Roses are coming to the festival and that the Gnr management told her that the CD vill be released in May. it was aired 6 March so maybe old news.

    This interview has taken place and been confirmed by other Danish forum members. P3 if part of Danish Radio which is the biggest in Denmark. If it was the actual general manager for the Roskilde Festival interviewed and if she was correctly informed remains to been seen.

    Ive have been checking some things up with Roskilde the last few days...

    It was the leader of the booking group there was on the radio(P3) not the leader(s) of the Roskilde...

    Ive also been emailing with the spokesman of Roskilde and he said they was told spring...

    Its no big deal if CD isnt released before the europe dates... I think they will release it after the tour dates in europe...

    Then GNR could release it before the hopefully forthcoming US tour in the fall...

    Just my guess...

    just got my latest issue of zoo magazine and inside it has a feature on the da vinci code where it offers about ten or so facts about the film. It mentions locations, who's in it and all that but most interstingly is that the last fact it metions is that Guns n Roses will have a song on the soundtrack. It goes on to say that it is there first in seven years. Take this as you will but why would a magazine doing a story on the da vinci code make this up? and how would they know about the rumour on the forums? after all theor researching the film not guns n roses. Anyway there it is..........hang me.

    According to Korn's Press Officer, Kristine Ashton, a writer from Rolling Stone magazine spoke to Axl Rose on Friday 13th, the day of Korn's tour launch party. So keep an eye out for possible GN'R news in a future edition of Rolling Stone magazine.

    Sanctuary yesterday quashed a similar rumour stating that Axl and Zack De La Rocha were to be formally interviewed and photographed in Febraury by the same magazine.

    No Official Release Date Yet For 'Chinese Democracy'

    Launch Radio Networks reports: Although former GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Slash told a Philadelphia radio station two weeks ago that he heard a March release date was on tap for the long-delayed new GUNS album, the band's management has told Launch that no release date has been set. Slash said that he had learned about the March date from sources inside the GUNS camp. A management spokesperson said that the new album, titled "Chinese Democracy", "is coming," but its official arrival date has yet to be determined.

    Slash also said in his interview that he has no feud, or any relationship for that matter, with GUNS frontman Axl Rose. Slash explained, "I haven't really talked to him directly, but we're not at each others throats or anything like that, just to kill all of that bad blood that people keep recreating. God, it's been going on for 10 years. He and I have never had a conversation, an argument...over that whole 10 years, and people have been generating all this animosity. But at this point there's no friction going on."

    Rose is the only remaining original member of GUNS N' ROSES left in the band. Co-founders Slash and bassist Duff McKagan, as well as drummer Matt Sorum, are all now part of VELVET REVOLVER.

    The last studio release from GUNS N' ROSES was the 1993 covers collection, "The Spaghetti Incident?" The group released a live effort in 1999 and a "Greatest Hits" set in 2004.

    VELVET REVOLVER is currently working on its sophomore album.

    Axl on Stern next week?

    Next week is the premier of Howard Stern on Sirius Radio. There has been alot of talk about who the 1st guest will be...and it is rumored tobe somebody big who "hasn't been heard from in a while". What are the chances that this could be Axl? I know he appeared (via phone call I believe) on the old Stern show back in the late 80's and I know that Stern is a GNR fan.

    Also...I find it coincidental that some of the exact same sound bites from Martin Luther King that are used in the live versions of Madagascar are used in promo ads on Sirius for Stern's upcoming debut (which he is actually getting in trouble for using by MLK's family, apparently)...I'm talking about the "free at last" speech.

    Just a thought.
