Personally, I would rather see a Metallica show that consisted exclusively of songs off albums through the Black album.  IMO, most of what came after the Black album is sub par from a Metallica standpoint.  I saw them several times pre St. Anger and was blown away every show.  Saw them a couple times post 2005 and left underwhelmed.  Just my opinion.

I will be going to St. Louis show, and while I have seen them on this tour already, many that are coming with me have not.  The people coming with me are not hardcore fans - they are guys wanting to see a kick a** show.  I guarantee you that they will have infinitely more fun watching the same current setlist that Guns is playing versus some setlist full of lesser known songs that some of you hardcore fans are wanting just to satisfy your hardcoreness.  Frankly, as a hardcore myself, I like the current setlist as it has a lot of my favorites on it (Coma, Rocket Queen, DTJ, WTTJ, SCOM, etc).

Tickets for St. Louis show appear to be picking up a bit based on the map.  Kinda odd how the sections are selling though, so I wonder if it is ticketmaster playing games with the available tickets.

Will be there.  Going with wife and some other couples. Wives are not Pit or even floor (short) people so we went with close seats.

Thanks for posting. Picked up a copy at a local Barnes and Noble. Fun to go through and reread these articles and see the pictures

I was able to get the Nashville one by heading over to the stadium around 4:15 on Saturday.  Ended up getting slightly damaged during the course of the rest of the day, which is disappointing, but a cool piece of memorabilia from the show. Mine is #174

My seats were in the 200 level. I noticed how bad the band was sweating, and thought it must be due to exertion, as it was very comfortable where we were. I remember telling my wife how awesome the weather turned out. Sorry to hear it was so hot up near the stage.

Are these fairly easy to obtain at the shows, or does one have to arrive super early to be able to purchase one?

Yeah, no kidding. Didn't they read Slash's book? Even in the Appetite days, Slash, Izzy, and Duff would come up with riffs and send them to Axl to lay vocals, etc. If they are waiting for Axl to sit in the studio with them coming up with ideas, its never going to happen.
