I know many of us here have been waiting nine years for GNR to come back. We've watched a revolving door of musicians go into the studio to work with Axl on the new album, and we've waited through numerous rumored album release dates.

A lot has happened in the past couple of months -- the GNR comeback, the scrapped tour, the rumors about bandmembers leaving, and the long silence. In light of all this, I was just wondering how many are ready to give up on GNR.  If an album doesn't come out by June, will you give up on the album and the new band?  Or will you still hold out for a reunion of the old members?

well im in the same frame of mind ive been in the last few years.....

When it comes, it will come. Until then, i will put afd on and turn it up and keep doing air guitar to it! haha

well you see sure, paradise city would of beaten both i used to love her and think about you, but they failed to beat their respective matchups which means that those songs cant be better than the ones that beat them, and hence cannot be the best GNR song. And each match up was randomly chosen. The best analogy i can think of is a tennis tournament.

In the first round, a player ranked number 10 might get knocked out becuase he/she got matched up with a top 5 player in the first round, whereas a top 20 player made it into the secoind round because they got paired off with a top 30 player instead.

But ultimately the top 20 player isn't going to win the tournament either way because they will get knocked out later.

This is just a reminder that thew competition is now taking place in the DONT DAMN ME area of the forum.
