-
probably the bass
-
pretty fuckin good, bro

I don't like his music that much but I fucking love him because whitout him we wouldn't have any good guitarists today and I think that it was Slash who said that every guitarist that came after him fall under the EVH style
i think that was hetfield actually, commenting on why he chose kirk.
-
eddie's fucking incredible, just look at all the people he's inspired. however, it's important to note that he never played anything alan holdsworth (his main influence) hadn't been playing for years.

The soundboard GNR crew sucks...always fuckin up the mix.
Try youtube nigtrain 06 rock an ring you can heard BBF solo there.
hell yeah, he rocks the fuck outta that one
-
dude, all you need is guitar pro and the knowledge of the chords, scales, and modes. sheet music is pretty much worthless now (as far as guitar goes) . the time it would take to learn would be better spent learning some gnr tunes.
however - learning how to play the piano will make you so much better at guitar it isn't funny, so keep that in mind.
-
that's fuckin gay. gnr should play some bumblefoot solo shit and let the man shine. and if bumble joined too late, THEN WHERE THE FUCK IS THE ALBUM?! he joined months ago!

Yeah ive heard some Freak Kitchen stuff. I just couldnt get into the singing.
Speak when Spoken too has Bumblefoot in it, he sings a bit and plays a solo (on fretless i think)
yeah i've heard a tune or too, the lyrics are a little cheesy. bumble crushes him as far as songwriting goes, but this dude can really rock the fuck out with some far out shit
-
i didn't think anyone was on the same page as bumblefoot.
turns out i was wrong: http://www.myspace.com/mattiaseklundh
this is the most innovative and inspiring shit i have ever heard. does anyone here actually own a freak kitchen cd?
lydia's house- go listen
-
yeah they were on the ground, and pretty close, thanks guys.
should i elevate the drums too?
BTW, we rock the SHIT out of SCOM, i'll record it someday.
-
who else heard the barkin' dog??.. !!..
i heard that!
-
i kind of agree, while it will be a great album, i get the feeling it won't leave me with a smile on my face, or make me want to party.
that's ok, though. i've got bumblefoot albums to cheer me up and get me going.
"i'd hate to die before i give
the work that shows i ever lived
so if you're hearing me do like i do
and move when i say 'GO!'
heh, pumps me up every time.

Geez...what an awful response. Maybe somebody had heard something that hadn't been posted yet.
I for one am from Pittsburgh and would LOVE to know when the Pittsburgh show is coming!
Dr. G
it will be announced when it gets announced. how about taking the time to read around the board and the tour dates rather than being a lazy twat.
because its retarded to make a thread asking if a date for (insert city here) has been set. take a look in the tour section. all announced dates are posted there. if a date is announced for pittsburgh, it will be posted.
shut up noob! you probably just learned that yesterday!
-
^^^ yeah, high gain, high treble, low mids, hi bass, and good pickups help too.
basically all you do is hold the pick a little lower and it's automatic.
-
hey that was pretty good, hope he keeps that shit up. anyone else notice that part he was playing with delay is actually SCOM?
-
there's at least 2 ice-t albums that should be on there. and how are you gopnna put FNM on this? just because he raps on epic?
-
ron fits gnr perfectly, everytime he does an older solo it's superb, everytime he does a newer one it is too. talk about versatile. i dare say that thanks to ron, we heard the best versions EVER of IRS and KOHD last night.
i was very impressed with the RFs last night for the most part, but what's up with robin looking like he has to piss all the time? i hear all this shit about his wonderful stage presence and this is what i get!
maybe it's like that 'friends' episode where joey can only act well if he has to go
-
that sucks we could barely here the fretless, what i could hear was fuckin awesome though
