Into The Wild

I saw "Into The Wild" yesterday when I was in Toronto. I haven't read the book yet but I thought the movie was amazing. To be perfectly honest, there was moments watching it where I wanted to cry, but alas, I'm just not that type of guy. Now that I'm back home in Victoria, I feel like just going to the beach for the day and watching the waves crash on the shore but unfortunatey I'll be going to work.

I saw it. I read the book and wrote an extensive paper on it my senior year in college so I was real familiar with Chris McCandless. It was good, sort of semi documentry narrated by his sister about his path and the people he met. The only problem I had with it was that the movie was two hours and twenty minutes long, Sean Penn should have taken a step back but he got so involved with it that he overblows the journey somewhat. It is a good movie however and I would recommend it to people.

Vedder's contributions...good God.

Yeah, the soundtrack's amazing! Hope he'll get an Oscar for it!

The movie ain't out here yet, but I'll go see it asap.

Will be getting the book as a birthday present.

I appreciated Eddie's songs a lot more after seeing the movie.
