 Nice one.

I'd like a proper studio version of Dead Flowers (I know the Clarke version is practically GN'R, but still). Pretty much any Stones song. I always wish they had released that Jumpin' Jack Flash, because it kicked the shit out of half the Illusion material. Put it in place of the alternate version of Don't Cry or at least My World, right?

I think most songs I'd like on a cover album would be unconventional ones. Cat Power does amazing cover songs because she takes totally out-of-her-style songs (Sea of Love for instance) and makes them her own. I think Axl could take some really quiet, soft songs and do well with them. Look At Your Game Girl actually benefited from a stripped-down, laidback style. I think a cover album like that would be nice.

I was gonna go with Burning Heart from Rocky 4. That 'east vs. west' thing is so Chinese D.

D'Yer Maker by Zepp.

Dust in the Wind - Todd Rundgren

Don't Ask Me - PiL

Then International Bonus Wall-Mart Track - The Final Countdown by Europe.

Or even a sort of West Coast Billy Joel/Elton John style album. I nearly picked that Cat Power cover album up in Tokyo. I got Britney instead, all that neon goes to your brain!

I was think GNR sort of took on all those runk rock covers but never really took on the more obvious influences, they did them but never put them out as an album. A classic rock covers album with stuff like Dust in the Wind, Whole Lot of Rosie, cover Zeppelin, Sabbath, ELO, Elton John, Queen...

This would be after the 4 Disc Box Set Chinese Democracy, The ReOnion of old band, then drop a covers album in 2030.

:rofl-lol:

Sounds easy don't it!!!!

That's just a side project for designing the new US satelitte prob to Venus.

Here's horrible idea

Hair Metal Fury EP - Guns n Roses

1. Girls, Girls, Girls - The Crue

2. Cathouse - Faster Pussycat

3. More Things Change - Cinderella

4. Up All Night - Slaughter
