Some Beatles assistance

Hello.

What pre-Rubber Soul record by The Beatles would be a wise move to purchase? Or should I just stick with the Red Album? Your opinions, please. :)

The Red Album would be perfect, and is probably your safest bet.

However the following albums are essential, get them, you cant go wrong.

Please Please Me (1963)

With The Beatles (1963)

A Hard Days Night (1964)

Beatles For Sale (1964)

Help (1965)

If you're not that into the early years, the red album would probably be fine. If you're looking for a single cd from that period, I would say Help is your best bet.

Like the others already said, buy the red album if you don't want to buy all of them. If you want a regular record, I would go with A Hard Days Night, because it's the strongest album from the Pre-Rubber Soul era.

The Beatles suck.

says the man who thinks U2 is the greatest band of all time......... :rofl-lol:

Actually, I think Sunny Day Real Estate is the greatest of all time.

U2 is a close second:P

What a joke!

Call me a joke if you want.

But I wonder how many of all the "Beatles" lovers, have actually listened to all their albums.

They aren't great IMO, and I own every album the put out. "Watered Down Soul" is what the Beatles are to me.

That is JMO.

Sunny Day Real Estate is truly the best band that noone has ever heard about.

Chuck Klosterman, a rock critic, who gets respect around here, has said that on many occasions. In both of his books, as a matter of fact.

I have listened to every album of the Beatles, I actually have all their albums on both CD and Vinyl and I can tell you that 99% of the Beatles' songs are better than anything Bono has ever written.

So yeah, you're a joke! ;)

Hey man, I like U2....... I think their last few albums have become way too boring, repetitive and self indulgent, but most of their stuff is great

But you're actually saying they're better than the Beatles :rofl-lol::rofl-lol:

I'll ponder that next time I'm throwing up......it'll be fitting

Seriously SunnyDRE, you didn't need to make it a U2 vs. Beatles thread.

U2 wasn't even mentioned by the original poster to begin with, so I don't think it needs to be an argument.

I didn't!!

Re-read all the post.

I wasn't thread-jacking.
