Van Halen is one of my top 5 favorite bands of all-time so of course I like them :P

You read my mind also. I love Van Halen, I have all their albums, except VH III with the guy from Extreme. Eddie allegedly was sober when he made that choice. Stay drunk Ed.

By the way, has anyone heard sammy's solo stuff? it's fantastic.

Yes. I love all Sammy Hagar stuff before he joined Van Halen. By the way, they played Montrose over the speakers before the St Louis show/..errr riot in 1991(while we were waiting for Axl to take the stage).

I guess Axl liked him too.

Overated piece of shiese saft

Entirely wrong, sorry mate.

Roth era Van Halen albums are some of the best records of all time, if it wasnt for jump, 1984 would actually BE the best rock record ever, to me.

Yeah, jump is the worst song on that album, bar the stupid instrumental intro.

I'm not a big fan of the keyboard songs either, other than that I love Van Halen.

Does anyone know the 1st song Van Halen used a keyboard/electric piano on?

HINT: It was before "1984". You have to listen closely, Ed's guitar covers it up very well.

Sammy > Dave

Dave era > Sammy era

I totally agree. Sammy's voice is phenomenal, but the music they made in dave's era is better. Its all about Eddie for me though, he kicks ass

Is it on the cover of oh pretty woman?

Earlier, and it doesn't say keyboards/electric piano were used on the song.

what album? this is bugging me lol...was it "And the Cradle Will Rock" from Women and Children First?? If not I have no idea...
