Recommend some good 90s Hip Hop & R&B

Hey

I'd really love some recommendations of mid (1994-1998 let's say) Hip Hop and R&B (like TLC style) artists. I know the big names in '90s Hip Hop like Biggie and Tupac, but what about some of the other artists of that era?

I'd recommend getting Midnight Marauders and The Low End Theory; which is pretty much what you'll hear from most people.

Then you should check out Black Sunday by Cypress Hill. And if you haven't already, The Chronic by Dr. Dre.

Also, I wouldn't limit myself to specific time-frames, you'll miss out on a lot of good artists.

If you haven't already, check out Nas' Illmatic. One of the finest albums rap music has given us.

I don't know too much R&B, but the Wu-Tang Clan produced some of the best rap of the 90's.

Wu-Tang Clan - Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers).

If you check that out and like it, I would also recommend GZA's Liquid Swords.

One of my favorites that I don't see get mentioned too often is Naughty By Nature's self-titled. Treach is one of the most underrated emcees in my opinion.

Are you joking dude? Doggystyle is 10x what The Chronic is. I agree with alot of what people have said. Pac. Big. Big L. Wu-Tang.Mobb Deep. Dj Quik. NWA(and solo acts). BG Knockout and Dresta. Also love Warren G. The Twins. Most things Rza is involved with.
