When I try to open google chrome I get a message that pops up that says User account control "Do you want the following program to make changes on this computer?" You can click yes or no. If I click no it closes, if I click yes I get thisAnyone know how to fix this? It was working fine yesterday. highvoltage
You've got a browser hijack. See how it says "search.conduit.com" in the address bar? Something malicious has taken control of your browser and is executing every time you run Chrome (hence the do you want to run this program prompt). AbominableHoman
Check options > under the hood > change proxy settings > lan settings, and make sure it is set to "automatically seek" proxy. Sometimes that malware will mess with your proxy settings and begin a whole bunch of problems.I'm sure you've got it settled by either hv, or gg by now though.
