realpoti
Metallica is way bigger than Gn'R nowadays (even though they still suck as they did in late 90's, in my opinion). Edited October 20, 2012 by marlon_brando15

AXL_N_DIZZY
Metallica is way bigger than Gn'R nowadays (even though they still suck as they did in late 90's, in my opinion).Funny there was a time when Metallica opened for GunsIt would be incredible for Guns to "return the favor"- and kick Metallica's ass most nights all across North America. It would be one of those "coming full circle" things as conventional wisdom is that Metallica kicked the bloated UYI-era Guns line-up's ass most nights (but not every) in '92. It would be a great opportunity...That said- can't imagine Metallica would ever want to risk having Guns as their opener given Axl's unpredictability and tardiness... Chris 55
Metallica is way bigger than Gn'R nowadays (even though they still suck as they did in late 90's, in my opinion).Funny there was a time when Metallica opened for GunsI wouldn't consider it "opening". They just opted to go on first because they didn't know when Axl would show and make everyone wait.
Guest Sleeping Like An Angel
That was a joint co-headlining thing technically?I wouldn't consider it "opening". They just opted to go on first because they didn't know when Axl would show and make everyone wait.Exactly, it just made sense. On topic: yeah, it would be cool in an ideal world.
