Dizzy Reed: 'This is the real Guns N' Roses'

I wonder if they got what he said right, because, you know, Axl's fat and bloated balls were probably in his mouth during the interview....

You've been here long enough to know better.

That kind of thing is even pushing it in Attitude, and it's absolutely not going to be tolerated in the main section. I don't know why those of you who have issues with Axl/the current lineup feel a need to hang around in here when you've got a whole section to rant.

Since you're here maybe you can explain if this section allows people to talk shit about former members. I mean, in this section you can't say "Axl is fat" but you can say "Slash is fat"? Let me know.

You've tried to provoke something out of this before, but you never really give me any examples. I've told you before that I'm absolutely unbiased when it comes to moderating Axl/Slash insults in here. But people have a tendency to report the stuff against Axl more since he obviously has more die-hard fans lurking in this section. I've recently taken action when people were bashing Slash as a "liar" for stuff in his book that he didn't even write, and deleted posts about Perla. But if there are other posts you take issue with, then report them and they'll be addressed. But this is at the least the second time you've brought this up now, and that's my response.

Or how that is even pushing it in Attitude when you have Damn_Smooth going ape shit in every topic.

I've been dealing with his posts lately and contacted him about some of them, and we'll leave it at that. If you have issues with any specific posts, report them. Your avatar is funny, btw.

New GNR will never get to the level of the Original Guns N'Roses, even Axl admits it. They will be carrying the legacy of another band with Axl on the wheels. Everything Axl would have put out after Guns breaking up would generate interest, whether Ashba, Johnny Depp or Al Capone were on guitars or if Frank or Bruce Willis were on drums...who cares...They could have the sloppiest band ever, but if Axl was singing fans would buy it and make it sound like it's a classic, the best of all time...and that's because they're so dependent to Axl's voice and to the era he represents and the band that he made it work with another 4 guys.

That was the Original and only Guns N'Roses band. What we NOW have is the same David Lee Roth had when he broke up with Van Halen, or what Vince Neil had when he was fired from Motley Crue. What we have NOW is an entity of Guns N'Roses. Meaning, it is Guns N'Roses on paper, but it's another entity that followed up what's left of the band who once was Guns N'Roses. It's better than nothing, but you can't expect it to be a CLASSIC or LEGENDARY or even any close to that... it is what it is...

As long as Axl's voice survives that entity we now have is kept alive, once it's time to retire it will be over! Whether there will be more albums or not, this band will always be Axl's pension. It will never mean to restore Guns N'Roses as a band! It means business, and business only! A way to continue to make money out of the LEGENDARY status this band in its original form had!

And you can try to find excuses all you want... like coming up with the classic... "hey, but Axl has a lot of money and he will be rich for the rest of his life..." Well guess what sunshine, once people get rich they want MORE and MORE and MORE! Hell they even develop new ways to spend their money on... like Plastic Surgeries, Hair Implants, Eye Color changes, Women, Lamborguinis. They go from having one car in the garage to wanting 20 of them, and they still won't be happy and will want more!

You will never understand the mentality of a rich person until you become one, and that's not just for you, it's for me as well... i'll never understand it...It's in human nature however to always want more.... so take it for what it is!

This entity that carries the Legendary name of Guns N'Roses is Axl's moneymaker and Hobbie!

Awwwwww he's annoyed. How dare you annoy him with your opinion. How dare you post your opinion here.

You like to use the word "opinion" a lot, but when I look through your posting history, your "opinion" is basically obsessively repeating the same insults over and over (and over) about Axl. There's a difference between an opinion and talking shit. Classicrawker falls into the former category, you quite obviously fall into the latter. It's actually stunning how determined you are to set a record for talking shit about Axl on the internet. I'm sure you're very proud and brag to all your friends in the real-world.

You're yet to point out any evidence to back up Dizzy's idiotic statement.

They perform under the name guns n roses, but they've never released anything as a band. They're a glorified cover band til then

Very very true.

How can the current line up be classed as the Real Guns N'Roses, when the latest hired-hand-lead-guitarist has yet to record and release any Guns N'Roses material?

It's laugh-able, At best, all Dizzy can be classed as, is the original hired-hand - lol!

Axl might legally own the GNR name, but everyone knows he fucked over Slash and Duff to get the name. Everyone expects that shit from record companies. Axl doing that to his friends was just despicable.

You need to catch up on your GnR facts mate.

Try this thread: http://www.mygnrforu...-the-gnr-brand/

Then read Marc Canter's interview: http://www.legendary...or-marc-canter/

I love recording like this. During Appetite..., Lies and Use Your... I had to put up with Izzy the whole time. I never liked playing with him. It was wonderful to escape him on this record. It sounds tighter and so much cooler than anything we've done before. I always got irritated over Izzy's way of playing. It didn't sound right. Before "Spaghetti", we erased his guitar and Gilby put on a new one. It sounded perfect!

What is Dizzy thinking? It ain't GnR unless its Axl fronting Snakepit!

Great. So you're going to invade multiple threads acting like some mad GNR anti-historian, trotting out your same two sources that seem to make you believe you've unearthed the "true" GNR history? That's what you're going to do? Great.

You don't trust Slash's own words and the words of his best friend?

The truth hurts but somebody has to let the naive know, don't you think?

And no, Axl did not fawk Slash/Duff over with the name. Think about this: Why would any sober and intelligent person sign over their rights to the GnR name?

Slash/Duff were stupid drug/alcohol addicts who didn't give a fawk about anything except the drugs, booze, and parties. Axl wanted full rights to the name because he was afraid Slash/Duff would OD and die. If they died, then their estates would take over the GnR name. That would have fawked Axl and the GnR fans over.

Slash/Duff have nobody else to blame but themselves. If Axl had fawked them over in any way, Slash/Duff would have gone to court to void the contract. They obviously didn't.

The purpose of sharing the Slash dissing on Izzy quote is to make you see that Slash only cared about making his music ... not GnR music that included Axl and Izzy.

In recent Axl interviews, Axl revealed that:

1. Slash did not like AFD (except for his parts)

2. Slash re-recorded all Izzy's parts on the UYI records

This TSI interview by Slash in late 1993 validates Axl's above claims.

Axl also has called Slash a LIAR.

In the Marc Canter interview, Marc confirms that Slash is indeed a LIAR who likes to lie to make himself look cool.

Marc also confirmed that:

1. Axl did not fawk over Slash/Duff with the name rights

2. Slash QUIT GnR because Axl wouldn't take all his Snakepit songs as-is

3. Axl invited Slash to come do 4 songs for CD that Slash had helped co-write previously, but Slash refused.

So you see, your anger towards Axl ... is unwarranted. If you are really that passionate about GnR, your anger should be directed at somebody else (hint: the guy who jammed with Bill Gates to sell a Xbox game).

Slash and Duff signed over their rights to keep Axl happy. They probably trusted Axl because they were friends and bandmates. Besides, GNR without Axl would be dead in the water. At the time they didn't realize what a nutjob Axl was. After Axl left GNR and took the name they sued Axl multiple times. Just because Axl was legally in the clear doesn't absolve him from being a shady scumbag.

Slash and Duff were fucked up on drugs, yet they mostly showed up on time, didn't throw tantrums and start riots, played their parts correctly, recorded music, did interviews etc. Same can't be said for Axl.

Axl never invited Slash to record for CD. He thought about it and told Canter, but Axl never talked to Slash. Axl has rebuffed any attempted contact from Slash - most notably the 2001 Vegas concert and Slash's visit to Axl's house.

Slash may have disliked playing with Izzy, but Izzy contributed to Contraband and played on Slash's solo album. Izzy has not contributed to any released fake GNR albums. In the late 90s Izzy jammed with Duff after Slash left, but Axl demanded Izzy sign over all rights to the songs and Izzy refused. Slash jammed with Izzy without any legal BS.

Also I think it's funny you link to a Canter interview when Axl totally cut off Canter, but Canter is still friends with Slash. Also in the interview Canter says Slash was a terminator and would do anything in the name of GNR. He also says that Izzy quit because he was scared of being sued for a riot. Who caused those riots? A certain W.A.R.

1. Say fawk once more and I will hunt you down and ensure you can never use a keyboard again.

2. Izzy has hung out with Slash and played with him a fuck tonne post Guns. People say alot of shit when they're pissed. I mean after all Izzy is still a drug addict, piece of shit, lying Double Talkin' Jive motherfucker, still, right?

3. Slash didn't erase shit. Maybe you should actually listen to the albums properly. Izzy plays plenty on them, its not his fault he was mixed down.

Ah what was I thinking ... Slash is your hero ... he is the good guy ... Axl is the bad guy! LMAO

Signing over the name to make Axl happy? Even dumber!

You can't force people to sign a contract because it makes the contract void in the court of law. You can't lie or manipulate people to sign a contract because it would make the contract void in the court of law.

Slash/Duff willing signed the papers because they were too dumb to know the consequences and didn't care at point in time.

Slash and Duff almost died from their addictions! Had they died when they almost did die, if Axl did not have full rights to the GnR name, Perla would be in control of GnR right now.

What are you reading? Marc did indeed say Axl reached out to Slash to come do some songs on CD. Why would Marc say this if he didn't believe it? Has Slash denied this yet? Not that I've heard of.

Axl rebutting Slash? Well duh, Slash quit GnR, blamed everything on Axl, talked smack about Axl, and then refused to come back to GnR when Axl asked him to. Why would Axl want Slash back after all that?

Izzy quit VR because they (Slash, Duff, Matt) wouldn't let him be the singer, ie. the creative director of the band

Izzy jammed with Slash without any legal BS? If Slash used any Izzy contributed songs and did not pay Izzy for it ... there would be a lot of legal BS from Izzy! That is what Axl protects himself from ... lawsuits! Doing contracts is the only way to protect yourself. And remember, Izzy did quit the band. Maybe Izzy is trying to advantage of Duff for some royalty money ... who knows! You don't know people's evil intentions before its too late.

You didn't read the Canter interview too good huh? You missed how Canter said Slash doesn't even talk to him anymore, but Axl does and Axl sends him gifts. He said that he is closer to Axl eventhough Slash was his childhood best friend. Axl was the only one supporting his book. Slash didn't even care! Axl is upset with him right now for releasing the book before Axl could release CD. Axl wanted Marc to release the book after CD was released. But Marc is confident Axl and him will be able to patch this up because Marc had no control over the release date of his book (the publisher did).

Lastly, please link to sources for your so call claims. Otherwise, it's all BS! LOL

Dizzy is only there to play Axl's parts during the songs. And only because Axl didn't want to be stuck behind a piano all the time during his Elton John phase. He's a hired backing musician.

I never understood why the guy needed to be anything more than a touring musician.

LOL

Are you fucking retarded? Slash barely talks to Marc anymore because he is busy. You know the guy tours and then when hes not touring hes playing with other people or you know, RECORDING. Axl has completely shut Marc out you illiterate bellend. Otherwise, Slash and Marc are still best friends.

Ah what was I thinking ... Slash is your hero ... he is the good guy ... Axl is the bad guy! LMAO

Perla was already married to Slash when he was badly hooked up on drugs and on the verge of dying and Axl made hom sign over the right?

Didn't they get married later than that? I stand corrected btw.
