machinegunner
Hey Marc, I know Slash worked on Bob's much maligned album Under A Blood red Sky, and he had a bit of an unpleasant experience. Bob asked him to "play like Django" and apparently Slash was a bit out of sorts about it and the whole experience. At least that is what i garnered from media reports but i was wondering if you had any further insight about it. Many thanks.
MEXzilla
Yeah I read somewhere that he basically said Dylan was an old fart.
recklessroad
He went in and put down a lead and Dylan thought it sounded too much like GNR. It also could have been a one off one take with out much thought in it. Edited November 21, 2013 by recklessroad
dalsh327
Had you known Bob Dylan before Slash and Axl met him?
Damn_Smooth
Why would anyone hire Slash if they didn't want it to sound like GN'R? Most of my personal favorite guitar work is what Slash did in GN'R.
