Snake-Pit Posted June 7, 2014 Share Posted June 7, 2014 (edited) I am such a geek, I only had to look at the date and I knew EXACTLY what it meant, when I saw the thread title under Recent Topics.Guns N' Roses Live in ParisOf course I didn't think about it until I saw this thread.This concert changed my life.I thank this show for basically teaching me guitar, pretty much/ that and the Tokyo 92 show sold as Use Your Illusion I & II - I had those shows on VHS and; had the Paris show first, from a younger age.This Paris show in particular is important to me as a musician, I can't thank it enough and Slash's tone there; Is why I do what I do.I liked Slash's tone the best on the concert day and also in that warm up in Paris with Jeff Beck - Slash's tone in Paris is basically the bench mark for what a guitar should sound like; to me. - This Paris show had a hand in raising me, I used to watch it that much.
