Hypothetical: If the band members excluding Axl owned the name... would Bumblefoot/4tus/dj/tommy/ptiman/dizzy/frank keep Axl in the band or look for the new singer?

They will keep him cuz he is basically the only original member from which made GNR famous. That said, they will probably order him to go to rehearsals and all, which will lead Axl to quit.

It was a weird situation when he sounded like shit and persisted in replaying the same songs over and over and over. Right now this isn't really GNR as great as it sounds, there's still nothing remotely progressive in the real core of the concept except the songs that Stinson was involved with, suppose BBF played a little and 4tus and Ferrer a miniscule amount, there's still only CD songs (how long ago were these songs conceived?) that merit the band being considered anywhere close to a GNR line up. They sound fantastic right now just like 2009/10 but without a record of their own it's still essentially a touring jukebox with Axl Rose singing.

They would step in and say something, or things would get very tense with Ron and Axl. Also A$hba would've been given the boot a long time ago.
