Len Cnut Posted September 8, 2015 Share Posted September 8, 2015 (edited) It's also Siegfried Sassoons birthday, God bless him and all his efforts I was quite aggrieved to see that, in the tradition of true wankery, The Libertines copied the U2 idea of naming their new album after the works of a titan of poetry (Owen wrote it but Sassoon gave more threw more than a few ideas in, including the title). Then again the title of their first album was nicked off something Tony Hancock was fond of saying so it's not that big a suprise 'i shall fetch you a punch right up the bracket!'.
