marlon_brando Posted December 21, 2023 Share Posted December 21, 2023 I was listening to a "Commentary" album from Soundgarden's King Animal (2012) on Spotify, where the band comments on the process of each track and thought it'd be cool for Axl to comment on the history of all new releases (CD tracks + the new four singles). From his point of view: what were the ideas initially, how was the mixing process, whose band members worked on the final version with him, etc. I know there's bad blood between him and the forum, but could anyone at least try to make a channel for that? Maybe a document with questions selected from users here to send it to him? I mean a conversation with no mentions of leaks, nothing about drama, only about his released work. The last time we heard detailed comments was on the 2008 chat, it's been too long, and understanding a bit better without getting into unnecessary personal stuff would be cool. We've been hearing things from other people (Brain, Tommy, Beltrami, etc.) sporadically in these last few years but not from the main person involved, maybe he's more comfortable talking with the new wave of releases...
