rylz Posted September 8, 2004 Share Posted September 8, 2004 (edited) i was kind of excited cause it was just announced that van halen was coming to my home city (wpg, MB, Canada) but i just checked the ticketmaster website and i am disgusted at what i see....tickets to see van halen are priced at $99.50 CDN, that is sooooo outrageous there is no way in hell i will pay that price to see van halen, and i know there is no chance itll get close to sell out at that price, that is the biggest rip off ever, and its not even roth!!!!!!! big fuckin deal, van hagar isnt close to as good, i just wanna see eddie, but for 100 bucks, hell no!! i just went to see alice cooper in the same arena and it was only 47 bucks after alll taxes and fees, there is no way hagar will be close to as good as cooper, nevermind 2x better, im outraged at this bullshit! what were prices like everywhere else?? They played in Green Bay Wisconsin (my town) a couple months ago and tickets were like 80 bucks. Bullshit.I've been to a few concerts, Def Leppard for 40 bucks, ZZ Top and Ted Nugent for 50 bucks, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts for like 8 at a fair type thing, Blue Oyster Cult and April Wine at the same event last year which my mom had free passes for, Saliva, Earshot, and Skillit for 15 bucks (despite what some may think Saliva kicks fuckin' ass), and on the 23rd of this month i have a 15 dollar ticket for Twisted Sister and paid 80 bucks for a Metallica ticket the 27th, which is sold out and i only got because my friends dad like stood in line for like 2 days.Yea i have a weird concert list eh? TONS of people of all ages totally just rocking out singing all the songs. Moms of the age 40+ were rocking harder then I was along with my buds. Anyhow it is very worth it because you will probobl never get a chance to see them again, I also must say Hagar is sounding VERY GOOD on this tour or atleast when I saw him, I almost forgot there ever was a David Lee Roth.
