Are you nuts? The Smells Like Teen Spirit riff is utter crap compared to Smoke On The Water, Iron Man or SCOM. It shouldn't even be in this poll.

I think Smoke On The Water is the most famous because people who aren't even into Deep Purple or know who they are have heard the riff at least once.

I'd say the most famous one is Thunderstruck but it's not on the list. Sweet Child O'Mine is the most famous of that list though I think. I mean after the fisrt mili-second everybody in the wordl knows the song. Thunderstruck is like that also. I eman I've dj'd gigs for junior high kids to 50th wedding anniversaries and those two songs everybody seems to recognize those songs instantly.
