backslazh
The SCOM intro was the reason I started to play guitar And it was the first thing I learned. Now I can play the whole song (with some improvising), Paradise City (with improv outro), KOHD (also some improv) and don't cry. I hate to learn solos tone by tone, so I'm a big fan of improv So with my own solos, I can play most of the GNR-songs (but that doesn't sound half as good as Slash)

zepsun
Yes I can hit is. It's only a D an octave above middle C... I can reach the next F...If I had some voice lessons I could probably ad to that range. In Dream On, by Aerosmith...I can reach that HIGH note (Onnnnnnnnn..) but I can't hold it, voice actually starts to drop the pitch...i don't understand it...the note falls..Thats the highest note i can reach..but i can only hold it for 1.5 seconds...meant to ask my stage/play director about that the summer..but forgot.I can sing any note axl can hit...but i don't really sound like him<{POST_SNAPBACK}>During the end of Estranged when Axl sings And all my "friends" said I was high. Can you hit that note because ive been told its a hard one todo as he stretches it out. I cant play or do anything musical.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
zepsun
Depends on what u consider hard.I learned it all by ear. I recorded the live version from my VCR and pitched shifted it up a 1/2 step. So I could play along with it on my piano. I got it in a week i guess...it was a while ago...i remember seeing sheet music for it...but everytime i looked at it..the end was always wrong...So I just played what I heard axl do at the end.Gutiar(lead):every song..Album and B-sides...and rare and unrealeased...as well as various differing live versions...even intros and jams...Piano:Don't cryYesterdaysNov. GnRDuff1
I'm a bass player, and I can play everything off of Appetite and Use Your Illusion I (except for Perfect Crime, but I can play Coma with no music, so I feel I can be forgiven)
