JONEZY
This is for the Van Halen fans. Their first album came out in 1978. Every album they released has sold a minimum of 1-million(except for VH3, w/G.Cherone).One of the biggest bands of the 80's and 90's, and they still haven't been inducted. They were eligible as of 2003.They have been bumped by some Motown acts, etc... And, I know, some other worthy acts have not been inducted either (ie: Kiss, Black Sabbath).I'd love to see it. Eddie, Alex, Mike, Dave and Sammy would have to be there, on one stage. I think G.Cherone would politely decline to show up.Why aren't they in yet? MrBrownstone531
The hall voters have some kind of bias against hard rock bands. It took AC/DC a few years after they were eligible to get inducted, and other bands like Sabbath and Deep Purple keep getting passed over while the Bee Gees and the Lovin' Spoonful get in no problem. Wildrose
I'm not really a big fan of Van Halen myself, but i think they should be there, they undoubtedly helped shape rock music.
