Don't really no my favorite bass player but Id say Steve Harris. I love Maidens galloping bassline. Id say Cliff Burton cause he did some impressive thins on bass but fuck half the time he wasnt even audible.

God i hate Nikki Sixx, i don't know why people love him, he's a shit bassist.

I have so many favourite bassists.

Steve Harris (he's one bad ass motherfucker and man you gotta love his triplets, awesoem songwriter too)

Jack Bruce (Amazing bassists, one of the best, could do great improvisation aswell)

John Entwistle (The best bassist in rock hands down, a Bass god)

Geddy Lee (Incredibly talented, fast and groovy basslines, can sing and play

keyboards at the same time too!)

Les Claypool (This man is a nutcase, his slap bass is mind blowing. Les is the man)

Paul Macartny (Yes, he was a very good bassist, Beatles songs would be nothing without his great basslines)

James Jamerson (Funk and Jazz bass is the best, this guy is considered the best by many)

I think that Roger is the best of this pol, because he used the bass guitar as a lead instrument, and it sound awsome!
