He's dead. He shot himself in the face. He was so wacked on H that he was no longer able to stop himself from doing what he thought about for a long time, apparently. I hate these fucking guys who cry the blues about not wanting to become famous, and how they hated all the money, wha, wha , wha -

Give me a fucking break! Anyone with musical talent, can just as easily sit in his or her own room and play guitar and sing all by themselves. No one barged into Cobain's life and forced him to join a band, make an album, tour behind that album, etc. He brought it all to himself and then whined about it untill he could'nt take it anymore. If he did'nt know what fame would be like, and he found out AFTER the fact that he detested it, he could have died his blonde fucking locks, shaved his face for once, and went and lived in Idaho with his money.

Anyone who feels sorry for this guy is a nicer person than me -

Great Band though

yeah but the botox is gone now, you cant even notice it anymore anyway so nobody really cares.

and the closest thing to tchno was silkworms which was written by Dizzy Reed and Chris Pittman.

and Dizzy even told us that song was dead and wouldnt be on the album.

and as for the emo thing, i dont know where the hell youre getting that from but Nirvana were a hell of a lot more emo than guns in every way.

i mean im not gonna deny kurt was an alrite song writer and whatnot which he was but he really was just an overrated junkie.

thats not to say he sucked in any way, hes just way too overrated for the music that he wrote.

Old Guns N' Roses and Nirvana weren't emo at all, but the new Guns N' Roses is, in fact, emo.

Yes, Kurt did have drug problems from his teens to his early death. To say that Nirvana is overrated is your opinion.

They managed to change the music-industry completly, and I wouldn't call a band who did that overrated.

well yeah nirvana wasnt overrated back then when they were big and putting out albums now, but kurt conain just because he killed himself is getting a lot more credit than he deserves.

and i still dont see how the hell the new gnr songs are emo.

if im not mistaken emo bands are the ones with those guys in it with those stupid fuckin haircuts either doing nothing but just scream the fuck right out of their lungs with no melody whatsoever or just bitch and whine.

not to mention the shit for talent they got on their insturments.

now if you could tell me why catcher in the rye, madagascar, and IRS are emo be my guest but if catcher in the rye is emo than that must mean the entire queen album "night at the opera" must also be emo as its basically the same type of style.

and then you also gotta tell me why november rain, estranged, and sweet child of mine is emo too.

i mean not to say theyre emo at all in any way cause they arent but nirvana still is closer to being emo than guns are.

i mean right now if you compare the new guns to nirvana then nirvana wins hands down ill give you that.

........but then again we still havent been given anything from the new guys yet so its basically a comparison that almost isnt there.

Some definitions:

1. Emo

Genre of softcore punk music that integrates unenthusiastic melodramatic 17 year olds who dont smile, high pitched overwrought lyrics and inaudible guitar rifts with tight wool sweaters, tighter jeans, itchy scarfs (even in the summer), ripped chucks with favorite bands signature, black square rimmed glasses, and ebony greasy unwashed hair that is required to cover at least 3/5 ths of the face at an angle.

::sniff sniff:: "The Demise of the Siberian Traintracks of Our Rusty Forgotten Unblemished Love" sounds like it would make a great emo band name. ::cry::

2. Emo

Punk music on estrogen. Often acoustic guitar with soft, high male vocals that dwell exessively on the singer's feelings, especially melancholy remembrances of past relationships/mistakes in life. A form of music that diverged from punk in the '80s, the name "emo" is derived from the emotive style of the lyrics and music. This genre has lately been marketed heavily by the music industry to teenagers with bands such as Dashboard Confessional and Taking Back Sunday, and has seen much commercial and mainstream success. The music has also spawned a subculture which conforms to certain conventions in dress such as tight sweatshirts, tight band T-shirts and horn-rim glasses. Adherents profess to exessively melancholy temperments. Males that adhere to the emo subculture are sometimes confused with metrosexuals; indeed the line between the two is somwhat blurred, though both groups claim to be intouch with their emotional side. The ephemeral and hackneyed nature of emo songwriting suggests that its audience will be restricted largely to teenagers. the genre suffers from a lack of credibility outside the aforementioned demographic group, much like current Nu Metal bands.

girlfriend: C'mon, lets have sex.

boyfriend: I'm too sad to have sex.

girlfriend: I'm sad too; lets have sex and cry.

boyfriend: I'm already crying.

An entire subculture of people (usually angsty teens) with a fake personality. The concept of Emo is actually a vicious cycle that never ends, to the utter failing of humanity, and it goes something like this:

1. Girls say they like "sensitive guys" (lie)

2. Guy finds out, so he listens to faggy emo music and dresses like a dork so chicks will see that he is sensitive and not afraid to express himself (lie). He dyes his hair black, wraps himself in a stupid looking scarf, develops an eating disorder, and rants about how "nobody understands".

3. Now an emo guy, he meets Emo chick and they start dating, talking about how their well-off suburban lifestyles are terrible and depressing (lie)

4. Emo guy is just too much of a pussy. His penis is too small, he's too depressed to bathe, and has more mood swings than emo chick, and he doesn't even have a menstrual cycle. Emo chick dumps him, saying "It's not you, it's me." (lie) as she drives off with Wayne, the school jock and captain of the football team.

5. Emo guy goes home and cries, proceeds to write a weak song and strum a single string on his acoustic guitar. Another emo chick sees how he is so in touch with his feelings, and the cycle continues.

This is the sad truth of the emo lifestyle/music, and now that I look at how pathetic it really is, maybe the emos DO have something to cry about!

When she sees how sensitive and emo I have become, she'll definately go out with me!

Just look at the first one:

Who dont smile, high pitched overwrought lyrics and inaudible guitar rifts with tight wool sweaters, tighter jeans, itchy scarfs (even in the summer), ripped chucks with favorite bands signature, black square rimmed glasses, and ebony greasy unwashed hair that is required to cover at least 3/5 ths of the face at an angle.

Aside from the high-pitched, they've got the music down. I still cannot understand what Cobain says in half his songs. It is inaudible. Sure, I can hear the rest of the noise that they call music, but his vocals are too gruff and whatnot to hear. The next lines, aside from the rimmed glasses epitomises Cobain. And I'm sure you're about to tell me that emo is not just music, it's a lifestyle. Emo has ties with homosexuality - ones which they are quick to play down. I'm not suggesting the music, or the people are gay, but it seems to be a n emulation of freedom and expressionism that through 'emotive' music they may achieve a spiritual 'nirvana'. Indeed, emotive/emo music is supposed to be music that 'conjours up emotions'. Well, what good I ask is music that doesn't make you feel emotions? TBH, that my friends, is not music.
