Yamisonic
I especially love bossa novas or however they called, I like certain types of jazz. The problem is, I don't know any artists or songs in particular. Care to help?

Well, I'd be glad to help but I've just started listening to jazz this year- I started off with some of the early jazz musicians and then to the modern kinds. I started off with some Louis Armstrong- one of the more well-known jazz musicans. And then it sort of evolved.Get started with these musicians, my favorites :Miles Davis, John Coltrane and Ella Fitzgerald.Ah- But I see you're into the Bossa Nova? Are you talking about the Brazilian style of music that evolved from American Jazz- kind of like the Samba?I've listened to that kind- and I love it- have you heard of Sergio Mendes? Guest Ohdistortedsmile1789
If you like Bossa Nova and Samba you should listen to Joao Gilberto. Edited July 29, 2006 by Ohdistortedsmile1789
Gash
I remember I used to listen to jazz on the way back from college and certain aquaintances would make fun of me because I'd alter the tempo I was walking and shake my head in peculiar ways without realising. Davis, Coltrane, Mingus, Parker, the usual suspects. Ya know.
