axlslash
Anyone here listen to em? I read about em in Rolling Stone and they sound really cool. They get compared to GnR in their club days a lot in the article, so I wondered if y'all isten to em.

DirtyDeeds
I don't know much.... but I like Lips of an Angel a lot That's the only song I've heard, but it's not too bad.
axlslash
Shoot me......but I really dig this album. Sort of a cheaper version of Brides of Destruction, and BOD were amazing on their second record (the first one was good, the second astounding) so I think these guys could go places. I really dig the first half (as far as I've gotten).

axlslash
I dissagree. That's like saying that Creed and Pearl Jam are the same band. I'll grant you that the singer sounds like Kroeger at times. Blower is a MUCH better guitar player than Nickleback, though. Hinder's music also seems much more genuine and from-the-heart to me. The lyrics are catchy, the guitars are good, the rythm section are pretty solid, and I REALLY like the singer. I don't think Kroeger when I hear him, though. He sounds a bit like Corrabi or maybe London LeGrande, both of whom I really like. I despise Nickleback as much as anyone here, believe me. I do like these guys though. I do like these guys though. It's not just that the lead singer sounds the same. But when I heard Lips of an Angel, I thought that it was Nickelback. Lyrics, guitars, pretty much every aspect of the music sounded like nickelback. You can take a Creed song and a Pearl Jam song and tell the difference just by listening to the lyrical style. Truckin'
Sorry, but Hinder seems to be a lame college-rock band to me. I really hate that album. If you're looking for good sleazy hard rock pick up Buckcherry's S/T or "15".
Irs Better Catcher in the Twat
Just another flash in the pan band, capitalizing on "whats in" or "whats cool" in music at the moment. Everytime i hear that lips of an angel it makes me cringe
Leigh-Rok!
I enjoyed the album, nothing like Nickleback in my opinion. "Get Stoned" was fantastic the first time I listened to it. Going back to what Truckin' said about sounding like a collage band... the person who introduced me to them is at an American collage. tat2d1
I think they're okay. I hear alot of 80's influences in their songs, and i like that. I'm sick and tired of that Lips Of An Angel song though.
